Having played league darts I’d say scoring treble 20 needs about the same careful aim and steady hand. The crowd sounds add nicely to the pub atmosphere and there are boards included which I’ve not seen before. Goes well with the existing snooker and pool on AA. All we need now is a beer and sandwich simulator. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #3 macplash, May 28, 2022 So am I supposed to figure out everything by myself? There’s no tutorial or explanation how to play? Only description of different game modes. Never played darts before. Also, during gameplay it says to hit e.g D-18 to check out, which I guess means double 18, but when I somehow hit it, I’m busted anyway. I’m confused. Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #4 Asp, May 28, 2022 There’s a number of different dart games and the most common rule variations are listed under the “i” menu. I only play English pub rules. So, in a “301” game you have to score exactly 301 points before your opponent finishing on any double. When the game says D18 to check out, ie 36 points remaining, you must hit D18 and nothing else. If you miss the double and hit single 18, for example, you then of course need D9 to finish. macplash likes this. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #5 macplash, May 28, 2022 @Asp that's the thing.. I've no idea which game mode should I play as there's a plethora of them available. Thanks for the explanation. I wish the game gave me a helping hand and walk me at least through my first game from start to finish. Also gameplay-wise, all I figured out is to swipe up to throw the dart. No explanation on the intensity, strength or anything else like trick shots if there are any. But I'll give it another try or two... Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #6 Asp, May 28, 2022 After a few tries @macplash you’ll soon see it’s a simple game concept. Swiping up on each dart is all there is. That’s it. They haven’t included anything else, like different weights or blocking. The excitement is in the race to a double and then hitting it, (and at league level players usually only get one chance). Note also that if there are 50 points outstanding you can win by hitting the red bullseye which counts as D25. Looks great if you can do that in public so keep practicing! macplash likes this.
