But I somehow fear that this is a rather shallow game. Still hoping for impressions. But might eventually jump myself. mgambino Well-Known Member Aug 13, 2014 159 95 28 #5 mgambino, Apr 23, 2022 The other 2 in this series (Dragon Lapis and Dragon Sinker) are two of the better Kemco games. You walk through locations and battle baddies. This time it’s Daemons. But the story is cool and involves confrontation between Dwarf/Elves/Human, a past of the land, covered by mystery, and the past of Protagonist, who seems to be someone else than he appears (though he doesn’t know this yet too). also, I love class change system where you can choose one of four classes (I hope it’s just for now) and FFX-like node system to upgrade characters. anthony78 likes this. You can switch classes freely, and even in combat! it just costs a turn. Strategically, that’s pretty cool. There is an equipment upgrade system, but happily it is not fussy. I can take any +x weapon to upgrade another weapon, with no loss of x. I’m not sure what the cap on +levels is, I’m at 36 for my highest now. there are a few different currencies. You can earn them a few different ways in game—battle drops, daily spinner, achievements. Playing on normal difficulty feels balanced without any of them. I plunked down a little bit of $ to get the refill MP after each battle because I didn’t want to deal with using potions that much, and know that I myself would be a little too thrifty wising MP for my own good/enjoyment. the story is not about an orphan, so it’s a bit of a departure for kemco . The story and characters are good enough to engage me more, but not winning any awards. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
