It's definitely different but even the dev calls his game a "Brough-like", so it is meant to be in that same vein as puzzley score chasing roguelite.
Another quality title from the Dev who did 7 scrolls! Personally speaking, it’s titles like these that make me happy.
After all these years, these are still the type of games I end up buying for my iOS device. Looking forward to it.
Watched 3 mins of AppUnwrapper video on it, and insta bought it once I figured out the Spell Clock mechanism. Very cool idea. Now I need to plan a trip somewhere to actually play!
I played it a bit and liked it though the spell dial thingie took me a bit to her used to. Then I somehow recalled I never got far in P1 Select and that's what I have been playing for the better part of today But yes, I think I'll also spend a lot of time on this one.
Could it be that the clock was pointing at a revive? I had the same sort of situation and when I looked and saw I had a revive, I was able to revive myself by touching the spell to the grid where I died and was back in business.
That happened to me once as well, but I think it related more to "how I died" rather than something that I was able to consistently replicate. But yes, it's a bug - unless there is some way to get us back to life and it's waiting on a valid input.
