The thing is that I live in such region that I can only have a Russian account (I’m not from Russia, I don’t live in Russia, it’s just the thing that I have a Russian accounts and it’s the only one I can have to buy games). And this game isn’t there. I asked the dev why it this so. And he said that he “doesn’t want people who support Putin to buy his game”. The stupid thing is that: 1. There are people in every inhabited continent on this planet who support Putin and who don’t. 2. Why must regular players suffer from the opinion of others? 3. What’s the deal with involving politics to game development and selling? 4. According to point 1, the game shouldn’t ever be sold anywhere. 5. What the hell? Is the world gone crazy? Seriously, how is the dev going to control which players play the game based on their support of Putin? That’s the stupidest type of discrimination I’ve ever seen. I hope the dev just forgot to take his pills. I wanted to support him on iOS and steam, but how that he let me know what an @sshole he is to players of 2 specific counties for absolutely no normal reason - screw him. And I hope my idea will get some support from those who (like myself) think that games should be on the other side of the universe from political crap. Following I liked: Many possibilities to create your city in various ways (different buildings) Simple economy on the first glance with many details in the endgame (research of new buildings) New levels with different landscapes (islands for example) Tasks with rewards (new buildings, new tasks etc.) Ads are not intrusive. They are appearing when you are reaching some milestones or if you actively want a little booster. This is what I didn´t liked: Battery drain is heavy After playing for longer sessions (1 - 2 hours) the game is becoming unstable and you have to close it completely and restart the app. Then you can play without problems for the next 1 - 2 hours. I also don´t like the attitude of the developer not releasing it in russia and for that reason I´m hesitating to support him with an inapp buy. As Legion180 already mentioned involving politics with game development in such way is not correct to the people who don´t support Putin. And there are many of them living in Russia, who don´t share the opinion of Putin on the war. I hope the developer may change his opinion and release it also for our gaming buddys in Russia. In the end we are all gamers and that´what it should be about. If you want to support Ukraine , sell the game also in Russia and donate the profit to help the victims of the war (red cross etc.). The world went just “woohoo; go get ‘em, president of the USA, you’re da best”, nobody said: “ooh, you damn bastard, i won’t let American people play our games”. No. Also, in the world history that is written by American now(they became an authority, for some reason), Russian are always bad bad people while they are saviors of the world. But they have eradicated the locals on their continent entirely since they came to NA. Note that usually there are American superheroes in movies and games, and Russian are always bad guys. So people see what they TAUGHT TO. To see that Russia is the source of all evil. I don’t support what happens now in Russia/Ukraine, because it’s just crazy when two presidents can’t use Diplomacy and just fight each other from the shelters, while real people dying. But I also hate hypocrites.You don’t know what happens in Russia, and it’s just none of your business. But know this: Russian people suffered enough when USSR collapsed and we just want to live an ordinary lives. It’s just dumb that Ordinary people, people like you, don’t get an access to games, movies and music. We still need to work and get money to live, pay for a place to live, feed our children and many more. Even if we go to rally, what the hell will it change? Most cities are too far from Moscow and it won’t be noticed or will be suppressed by the police(like it usually happens). And then it’s a crime to rally and can affect all of our relatives. p.s. also it was stupid move to ban cats and trees from international contests. Like what, they should rise up too?
