Really cool to see it ported to mobile. Hope it does well! Talbs Well-Known Member May 1, 2011 2,616 377 83 #3 Talbs, Mar 24, 2022 Last edited: Mar 24, 2022 DLed already. Visually it has translated really well. controls have been mobilised a little bit (and rightly so because I could not really see it working otherwise). It has an auto shoot kind of thing going on. You still tap to shoot in the direction but it then keeps shooting and with auto target. (Compared to right joystick and right trigger for console). Controls feel a little floaty and that’s because that’s how movement in this game is. I would say it takes a little getting used to, but after that, the game is all there, so it’s still good and playable. edit: I retract some of the auto shoot thing. You can disable auto AIM in the settings so that it then just shoots anytime you move the right joystick around. Shoots in the direction of the right joystick, until you let go, so you can target stuff yourself this way. That too me actually makes it closer to the original experience. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #4 anthony78, Mar 24, 2022 Hmm, I enjoyed this on Xbox and thought about grabbing it on mobile but auto shooting and targeting is a big turn off for me. So think I’ll stick with the console version. This game says it's made for gamers, but I can't imagine they have talked to at least one serious ios gamer. 1. Controls! This game needs the option to customize. The way it is it's not even good. (You won't find that special button (or should I say dot?) in combat. Same for jump and melee. And when I say customize I mean place And size. 2. Font! I mean like come on, seriously? Every single time a game comes from big screens the same thing happens. Does really no one ever think about this? Also you just need to go like five minutes into the game to notice that there might be a problem, hence the question again whether someone over there at least tried to play the game on an actual phone. This is ridiculous. On a side note the gameplay feels very airy (weightless), which is usually a thing of cheap games, and therefore feels weird. But that's something you can probably get used to though. Sorry for sounding so negative, but like you girls and guys I was totally psyched for this game. But the way it is I don't see me having much fun. Might be just me though. Have a nice day everybody! I keep having to take screenshots then going to photos and zooming into the picture to see what text says which obviously ruins it And yeah customisable controls would be great, still playable and its a very nice game but just havent a clue what i'm doing as i cant read any of the text most of the time Surely these companies have QA teams ? Did no one test it on an iphone x for example and realise the text is too small ? Thank you for all the feedback, be sure to let us know if something feels amiss, as we'll be updating the game with fixes & improvements. About the testing, we did our best, but please keep in mind, that we're a tiny indie dev, not a major company. We've been testing the game on different iOS devices, but unfortunately, we couldn't check 100% of them. We'll try our best to remedy these cases ASAP Thanks for playing, hope you're having fun so far! If you simply tell the game to render text larger, then you have to worry about if it will fit in the boxes you originally designed for text, and if it doesn't how it will wrap, or if it then needs to be split into multiple messages how will the text advance, etc. Something that sounds simple like increasing text size can cascade into having to redo the entire UI. If I remember correctly there was a similar with Slay the Spire when it came to iOS. Not saying it's impossible to do, just that it's surely a ton of work that may or may not be worth the investment.
