It’s more of a revenue model than an actual game. I will continue to play it (and the superior Gems of War). But I will hope for either a return to form in a possible Puzzle Quest 4, or a rerelease of PQ1 and PQ2 in a paid bundle. One can dream. I want this to be good but every time I see one of these f2p games list PvP (and co-op / leaderboards) as one of their core features, I get worried.
Tried it hoping it wouldn't be terrible as i really wanted it to be decent (over 40 years of playing videogames and puzzle quest will always have a special place in my heart); already deleted it.

I was excited for this game’s release, and while I don’t think it is horrible, it is disappointing. I will continue to play it (and the superior Gems of War). But I will hope for either a return to form in a possible Puzzle Quest 4, or a rerelease of PQ1 and PQ2 in a paid bundle. One can dream.
