Looks like the full game. The only down sides so far that I see is it is not full screen on iPad, the fit to screen button shows up. It also does not have controller support, only a couple buttons do something on controller. Edit: Touch controls are pretty responsive though, and the game play is smooth. This one seems to be running at a very clean 60 fps on my 13 pro. I hope they add full controller support in the near future. As to the screen controls, they’re decent but could use more customization. Too bad that they didn’t remove or fade the app-switch bar at the bottom. Overall, a solid game, though not anything groundbreaking or original. That was one of the worst design decisions Apple has ever made if you ask me. I’m constantly minimizing games accidentally while playing. So, you’re saying game developers can actually make that go away? That would be amazing. Talbs Well-Known Member May 1, 2011 2,616 377 83 #8 Talbs, Feb 16, 2022 They can make it fade away, and they can make it require one initial swipe up to kind of ‘ready’ it, and a second swipe up to confirm and do the switch apps thing as normal. So a quick double swipe does it. This massively helps as it gives you a warning. I find the home bar is particularly annoying in card games where your hand of cards is down the Bottom (as they all are). Good home bar implementation is vital for those. Hopefully they update it with iPad (and controller) support. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #14 metalcasket, Feb 17, 2022 I haven’t been this conflicted about a game in recent memory. On one hand, it runs like a dream and seems compelling, but on the other, there’s just something about the graphics that make it look like it’s from the days of non-retina devices, the story is really hard to keep track of (and not in a charming ESL way) and within the first 30 minutes repetition sets in and boredom swings its ugly head in the door. Between that, all the lumped up controls in the corner, the fact that it isn’t universal and everything everyone’s already mentioned in this thread…ugh. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
