But can the controls be reversed ? Normally the direction controls are on the left ? OddAlun Well-Known Member Dec 2, 2017 81 40 18 #5 OddAlun, Feb 3, 2022 Yes... in fact they were on the left by default. No auto rotate? Can you change the character name? No auto rotate as I didn't think it's useful but if it is I will add it in next update. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #7 anthony78, Feb 3, 2022 Auto rotate is pretty much standard these days. I really need it because it’s easier to hold the phone with the camera on top and dislike games that don’t let me hold it the I want to. But otherwise this game looks great! Will put it on my wish list for sure. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #8 squarezero, Feb 3, 2022 Auto rotate is usually a good idea because people sometimes charge their phones while playing and have a preference as to where the cable should go. Also, it would be a good idea to add some feedback to the save button - a click and a “Game Saved” message. The way you have it right now, it’s hard to tell if it did anything. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #9 squarezero, Feb 3, 2022 Welcome to TA, BTW! agreen437 Well-Known Member Jun 12, 2014 1,702 222 63 #10 agreen437, Feb 3, 2022 What’s the minimum device for this game? agreen437 Well-Known Member Jun 12, 2014 1,702 222 63 #11 agreen437, Feb 3, 2022 Controller support? Classic dungeoneering - extensive convoluted tunnels with auto mapping, random monsters, usual quests such as locating keys or levers to open gates, find the Watcher’s missing eyeball etc. Big plus for me is the scalable difficulty. I have it set to ‘very easy’ as I prefer the exploration and quests rather than getting bogged down in too much combat. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #17 squarezero, Feb 4, 2022 It’s hard to say for you. If you dig first person dungeon crawlers in the style of Wizardry 8 and Legend of Grimrock, you will probably enjoy this. You play as one character rather than a party, which may or may not be a minus for you. There are some neat environmental effects and some interesting play with POV. It seems like a massive game, but there is a bit of jank — nothing terrible, but clearly the work of a small team. For me it’s a no brainer, but your mileage may vary. houseofg Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Oct 1, 2013 1,611 82 48 #18 houseofg, Feb 4, 2022 You beat me to my question! Lukasz Radziejewicz Well-Known Member Feb 3, 2022 50 42 18 Male #20 Lukasz Radziejewicz, Feb 4, 2022 Well Legend of Grimrock was one of my most favorite titles, but if you remember 80s and early 90s you might remember Dungeon Master (for me the father of dungeon crawlers), Eye of the Beholder. The games I really loved was Ishar series, I don't know if you remember that? I would love to go that way in my next production (vast opened land with beautiful nature, and mysterious locations, dungeons and cities scattered around). There was also a great title of this kind at the mid of 90s - Stonekeep. houseofg and CrayonWarrior like this. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
