I’ll let you know what I think probably tomorrow. Hope to see others pick it up and let us know how the touchscreen controls work if I don’t get to it by then. Looks like controllers are supported. So far the on-screen controls work fine. Floating v-stick on the left and attack by tapping on the right. Dash by touching on the top-right and get a quick bird’s-eye view by holding at the top-left. I’m playing on an iPad mini 6 and the screen is fully covered (no black boxes). Every 5 levels there is an old man who will let you leave the dungeon and you can keep all your items otherwise if you die before you reach him you lose a bit of gold and all your items. What you have already earned from previous runs you keep it’s not affected by death. There IS a town portal item you can buy for 100 gold. After reaching level 10 the town updates with new stuff in shops etc The skill tree is a little confusing at first, you get a point every time you level up but the unlocks cost so many points you will be saving these for a long time very addictive I can’t stop playing it I scream out loud in frustration and then head back in for one more run adamphetamine, slewis7 and Anotherkellydown like this. He also directly mentions what you are asking about. I think he said he’s 20hrs or something of playing, loves the game and still has no clue what that icon means. So basically good luck lol. I thought it was random but it may be after a certain number. Anyways that town has better stuff in the store. Also there is a guy who can enhance your items. I just bought a long sword there for $1500 gold. You can also transfer to that town by trading for an orb. Then you use the orb and select the icon that looks like a waterfall. I just did that so I could go there to buy a stronger sword. Just hit the first boss on floor 18 (may have been 20) and I did zero damage lol. Hopefully this sword helps. Also hopefully this answer helps lol. And thank you for the revisit info. I didn’t realize that’s what he did. I only saw ? symbols. But then I scrolled down after reading your post and noticed all the ones I had found. Some with stars meaning I had beaten them. The others were without a mark. This game is really great. I picked up that other game everyone is playing also, but haven’t gotten around to it yet……. Because this is just too good at the moment. I see other magic spells as well like regen, flame and a few others. I bought it for 25 points then bought plus 5 fire power or something. But again no idea where the “input” is to use fire. Any help would be awesome!! Hmm maybe I also need to trade for it now with the merchant ? Going to try and see if that’s it. I have a bit more to collect it looks like.
