Netflix getting into mobile gaming now is interesting. The platform is dying because of F2P garbage, they might just help reinvigorate it with good quality games squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #8 squarezero, Dec 4, 2021 Sigh. I am so weary of this particular storyline. It’s great to see a new Wonderput, and having another publisher committed to IAP free games is fantastic. But there are already plenty of other amazing options on this platform. Just today, Apple Arcade re-released two gorgeous premium games. And you have new games like this one release with little or no fanfare. I get the F2P hate. But “dying”? The ridiculous backlog in my iPhone says otherwise. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #9 vectorarchitekt, Dec 4, 2021 I only say this because, while I have a ton of games on my phone as well, Yes I also play a lot of mobile games. But, in my experience, almost all of my favorite games are gone, developers have no incentive to pay the Apple fees to keep their games going or update them. Instead I see constant Steam releases, or Switch, and many of them don’t even consider iOS anymore due to what a pain in the ass it is for them. ac166 likes this. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #10 anthony78, Dec 4, 2021 At least this is a new title. Apple Arcade has been doing so many re-releases that it’s making me think twice about subscribing. I’ve had Netflix forever so this is just a little side benefit. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #11 orangecan, Dec 5, 2021 Same here. I’m getting sick of seeing ‘game I’ve already bought’ + edition on arcade. #Bonk3rZ likes this. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #12 orangecan, Dec 5, 2021 This is great though. I loved the original and this is just more of the same. It’s as frustrating on occasion as the first but still brilliant. I’m surprised something if this quality is being sneaked out on Netflix - if it wasn’t on here I would never have heard about it, I find it weird that as a Netflix subscriber I don’t get any kind if notifications as to what’s coming on the game service. The original was a massive hit from what I remember - it was the first ever iPad game I downloaded cos it was iPad only and I couldn’t play on a phone or a touch Anotherkellydown Moderator Staff Member Patreon Bronze Feb 10, 2014 4,581 1,134 113 Male CAD Technician I Upstate NY https://youtube.com/channel/UCcvu9xhE7xT-mZrXUZQJr5g #13 Anotherkellydown, Dec 6, 2021 I recorded a playthrough of the first course if anyone’s interested in watching me fumble my way through 18 holes.
