No flashy over the top effects, just combat influenced by classic Kung Fu films. The game features authentic fighting sounds from films and a licensed soundtrack with great music from classic kung fu movies. Shaolin vs Wutang is a real love letter to classic 70's and 80's Kung Fu cinema. This is a indie passion project that was made by one person who has tremendous passion for, and knowledge of Kung Fu films. It is not my intention to provide the same experience as big budget fighting games. But rather I hope to provide players with a satisfying gaming experience blended with nostalgia and reminiscence of the great Kung Fu films. Features: + 5 game modes. + 27 characters. + 20 stages. + Play using the touch screen or a compatible controller. + Local multiplayer using two compatible controllers. This may be an indie effort (production values are incredible, despite that) but it puts to shame pretty much everything from Injustice and Mortal Kombat to even Street Fighter. THIS is what iOS is capable of. No holds barred, a massive 3 GB and literally a full-fledged and fully featured fighting game. I don’t know if this is a combination of both Shaolin vs Wutang games that are available elsewhere, but if not, give me the sequel (and then some) and some big wig, please take some inspiration and give us a REAL Mortal Kombat with a premium price tag. adamphetamine and aussiepaul like this. Cannot say what needs much power, cause the graphics are not top-notch... Maybe the "calculations" for the fighter moves are complicated for my chip... (???)... I played the hell out this game on my Xbox Series S, and it’s a really solid fighter. Somewhat hilariously, I found that the game runs better on my iPhone 13 than the XBS. Touch controls are solid too on this one. adamphetamine likes this. agreen437 Well-Known Member Jun 12, 2014 1,702 222 63 #11 agreen437, Nov 5, 2021 This game is awesome on M1 iPad Pro really well worth 2 bucks Jackaluk likes this. Plays brilliantly on my iPad with the controller, pulling of special moves is not frustrating. Love the music and sound. This game is an absolute steal at the price. The bottom right hand of the screen in the corner is picking up gamecentre notifications. Which covers up the action buttons on the far right so I keep hitting the GC icon and going into that menu. I can’t find any option to change it - every time I open the game it logs into gamecentre then displays my logged in icon and achievements messages in the bottom right of the screen but doesn’t go away. (I know I could disable GC but I’d quite like not to). aussiepaul Well-Known Member Aug 18, 2013 130 36 28 #16 aussiepaul, Nov 9, 2021 Last edited: Nov 9, 2021 Just dowdloaded to iPad mini 5.
