Is that happening to you too, @metalcasket? Edit - after reading through some of the help menus I found out I need to cash those purple coins in at the “prestishop”. Problem is, I don’t know where that is. Maybe it unlocks later, like the other NPCs? And I’m still not seeing the coins in my inventory… Third and final (I hope) edit - exploring the menus and reading goes a long way. I finally found the answer after rereading the main tutorial.
