And says it’s roguelike bullet hell with cards and deck building. Looks like it may be short. Not sure why I think that though. Anyways I will pick this up for sure. Give it a go later. But I also just picked up cruis'n blast for the switch and I can’t wait to dive into that as well. Update: Just downloaded will play tonight. Also noticed says it’s 40% off till the 17th. (not why I bought). I usually just can’t wait to download. Playing is another story. Same with switch games I buy and pretty much anything. I know what you mean about buying so many games and hardly having time to play them all. Between GamePass, my Switch Indie addiction and iPhone games I’m set for the rest of my life if I never bought another game. I wanted to drop in with a initial thoughts then I’m going back to it. So far I think I like it. It is a bit wired the way you use your cards you have to drag them onto the screen. Not sure how intuitive it is so far. Feels possibly a bit clunky. Now I got to what I think is the boss of the tutorial lol and died twice. But I just restarted there. So I’m not sure how “roguelike” it is. Unless I’m just terrible and need to finish the tutorial without dying then the roguelike will start lol. I have seen some cool cards already. They are interesting and I’ll probably get used to dragging them. Although they are all over the right side of the screen lol. I did just have a crash. On my last death the game just crashed to my Home Screen. Also I wouldn’t call this a bullet hell by any means. It’s a dual stick shooter/card based fighter. It is still pretty cool. And I think I will have fun with it. Going to go back beat the tutorial and report some more lol. It seems unique enough but I’m not 100% yet. I’ll drop in soon with further impressions. update. I went back in and it loaded up with a message I haven’t finished tutorial yet, would I like to finish it?. So it did save there and I wasn’t finished tutorial (not sure I have ever died on a tutorial before lol.) I don’t think I choose the best cards. Going to restart it and go from there. I do like some of the cards again. It’s cool you use some like a bomb or a dash and some you can actually equip. But again I need more time. I think already though that some will enjoy this a lot. I did do something wrong with cards. Anyways I like it. It’s more of a dual stick shooter card combat game then anything else. Cards are used as items and weapons in combat. As usual a big deck may not be great. Small deck of good stuff can be better. It is cool and unique. I’m not sure of any “roguelike” elements so far. When you die a death card is added to your deck. Which is like bad filler card. You can remove it I believe for a cost of course. But when I read roguelike I got really excited as I was looking for another fun one. And one based on a bullet hell with deck building sounded awesome. While I think the description may be a tad wrong, (then again maybe I haven’t seen the roguelike yet somehow and maybe this is bullet hell to some? Lol), the game is still fun and unique. Worth $3.99 I think. I’m not very far. It seems to have a few bugs. I have gotten stuck in a couple walls or barriers. Two crashes. It Saves ok but doesn’t last on a soft close too long. After a few mins it seems to fully close and have to restart which is a bummer. I got a call during tutorial and had to respond to an email. Both of those games I had to restart and the game was closed less then a few mins each time. But not a big deal really. Anyways I’m gonna play some more and will leave some more impressions again. Update: I still like but need more time. I’m not over the moon or addicted. Gonna put it down for the night. Something is missing. Or maybe it hasn’t clicked with me yet fully. I still find it fun and unique. I don’t regret my purchase. Once you die 4 times the game is over and you restart. I guess that’s all the roguelike you get. But nothing to advance the next runs. Unless cards start unlocking and stay unlocked for future Runs as starting deck cards. But I haven’t gotten that far. That would be cool if that’s how it works. Once you have four death cards though and your initial Deck with the starting 10 it was really hard. I couldn’t do much on the boss as 8 or more of my cards were a waste on the boss and with refresh rates and the way the system works I was just running around trying not to die while pushing my bad cards waiting for a good card to come so I could try and hit him. It was a bit hectic lol. Not sure good or bad hectic just yet. Oh also looks like two games modes. A story mode and adventure mode (haven’t tried but looks like small Mission based type levels). And a second character to unlock with possibly different starting cards and some different abilities or weapon slots numbers. I’m for sure going to play more tomorrow. The more I write the more I realize I liked it and want to explore more And get better. I think many here will like this. Lull4by likes this.
