Does anyone know if they added controller support to these ultimate pixel remasters? I can't see a mention of it anywhere in the app descriptions, which is normal for Square Enix, as FINAL FANTASY III,IV,V,VI,VII,IX all work with controlers very well but for some reason they don't mention it, as we know Square charge a premium for their games which is great they are fine games, but i would appeciate it if someone who's already purchased them to test for controller support before i dive in. Thnx! RandomizedKirbyTree47, malaheart and Taeles like this. In the NES version it is arguably harder than Chaos, but in other ports it was seriously nerfed. Have they restored the warmech to its superboss-like status in this version? As a fan of Final Fantasy 1 from back in the NES days, I enjoyed this port quite a bit. I found this version of the game to be a nice balance between staying true to the feel original, and adding numerous nice quality-of-life improvements. Odd omission of controller support notwithstanding, I actually found movement to be implemented pretty well as iOS games go, with the option to easily toggle between "tap to move here" and more traditional on-screen D-pad modes. Although I did wander around the final floor of the Sky Castle for a while, I wasn't lucky(?) enough to encounter the Warmech! (As I recall reading elsewhere, that encounter was a 1-in-64 chance back in the NES version?) RandomizedKirbyTree47 likes this. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
