It satisfies most of the Trials itch and will do just fine until Bike Baron 2 comes out tomorrow. There’s a lot of small super annoying things to the game: constant internet connection requirement, reminders that you must upgrade your bike when you don’t actually need to, and my personal favourite: wait times to “deliver” bike parts before you can upgrade the bike. That said, this is primarily a skill-based game. Sure a faster, more upgraded, bike will make some things easier but even now, 3-4 hours in I’ve been able to out-race the vast majority of AI opponents. It’s heavily about understanding how the bike moves, how to land, when to lean, and it’s super on point and I love that. It’s a weekly subscription. $4.99 a week. adin, ShinHadoukin and UnhappyUnlucky like this. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #4 anthony78, May 25, 2021 Subscription? Yuck! Paying a subscription for Apple Arcade or Game Club make much more sense. No ads, no in app purchases. Full experience. You get a bunch of games. When I see a subscription to a single game I spit out my coffee. Then I pinch myself to make sure I’m awake. I’m already spending a lot of money on bills, insurances, tax, etc. I think I will use the small savings after a hard day work on a couple of tasty burgers instead . Spend money wisely unless you really enjoy the game and feel it’s worth to spend subscription on a single game. You do you and whatever makes you feel good Ijipop likes this. I wouldn’t even consider $5 a year for this. Charge once and be done with it. Littles kids with their parents credit cards keep justifying this nonsense. Shame on you, devs. joewelch4 Member Oct 2, 2012 8 2 1 #7 joewelch4, May 27, 2021 Game Designer for Mad Skills Motocross 3 here. I just wanted to reply to some of your concerns. We have been taking community feedback seriously and have already made some big changes since releasing the game. First, we definitely came in way too hot with pop-up ads. It’s super important that we make a game people love to play, and clobbering players with ads is no way to do that. We’ve turned pop-up ads off completely, and if we turn them back on, it’ll be done in a much more reasonable way. Also, we’re making some changes to pricing, specifically Pro Pass pricing, based on player feedback. It may take a couple of days for these changes to be live in the game, but you’ll see them asap. The Pro Pass is absolutely not needed to play the game or needed to unlock bikes or upgrades. It doubles your rewards after races, gives you a daily income of gold, and unlocks almost all the customizables. Like all Mad Skills games you can play for free and unlock all bikes and upgrades for free. Paying just speeds up the process. Thanks to everyone for the feedback, and please keep it coming. We are listening. We will ALWAYS listen. Mad Skills Motocross 3 is a marathon, and we intend to make a game you want to play for years to come. Thanks so much for playing.
