Most people complain that the game is not a shooter and because the locations are like corridors. But it may be good for ios anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,125 703 113 #14 anthony78, Apr 19, 2021 Professional reviews also complain about horrible writing, tedious and repetitive gameplay. Yeah, no, this won’t be better just because it’s on iOS. And it annoys me when bad games get ported to mobile and somehow people think they’re going to be magically better. I avoid bad games even when they’re on mobile. There are just too many good games to play. Just my 2 cents. yankeeblue000 and metalcasket like this. agreen437 Well-Known Member Jun 12, 2014 1,700 221 63 #15 agreen437, Apr 19, 2021 I saw the gameplay and looks incredible to my eyes squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,714 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #16 squarezero, Apr 19, 2021 Generally I agree with you. But some games benefit from mobile gaming habits — short sessions, multitasking, headphones, etc. Something that would seem short, shallow, and repetitive may work well under those circumstances — though it won’t fix bad writing, of course. I ended picking this up because I liked the art direction (the whale thing looked pretty cool). So far I’m digging the overall weird vibe, though the writing goes for some pretty rote cliches (you have no memory, transported to a different world, you are the only one who can bring back the light, you have to recover your memories, etc.). There’s combat but it’s kind of perfunctory, and the puzzles are simple and not really challenging. The first person platforming could be worse. The whole thing reminds me of an old PC game, Clive Barker’s Undying. In any event, it’s engaging enough for me, so I’m getting my money’s worth. agreen437 Well-Known Member Jun 12, 2014 1,700 221 63 #17 agreen437, Apr 19, 2021 I agree how are the graphics? squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,714 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #18 squarezero, Apr 19, 2021 A little blurry, but not bad. The game is very dark, so it probably plays better in a darkened room. agreen437 Well-Known Member Jun 12, 2014 1,700 221 63 #19 agreen437, Apr 19, 2021 You tested on iPhone XS? squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,714 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #20 squarezero, Apr 19, 2021 iPhone 12 Pro.
