I don’t know if it’s because risk isn’t my thing but I didn’t press on much further with it. I guess I’d say although this is based on an epic book/tv series, this game is sort of a glorified risk game and imo not epic. But that could come down to taste in board games. i also found text and icons to be on the small side on phone. Visuals, though suitable, detracted a bit as your figures on the board don’t pop out from their surroundings, but was still very playable. The visuals are rather flat on colour I guess, though that could just be the theme. Just not to my preference. The game overall though is decent and quite playable. Its risk with added phases for turns and choices, making it deeper than risk. I do think that part of the fun is lost by not playing it in the real world as the game is about making alliances and breaking them and trying to second guess your opponent. But it’s often that experience is lost when going to digital anyway so that’s normal I guess. You should check out reviews of the boardgame if you’re not sure. chengchisang Well-Known Member May 25, 2018 119 31 28 #5 chengchisang, Apr 8, 2021 Is this based on the first or second edition? psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,966 718 113 England #6 psj3809, Apr 8, 2021 Why oh why did people just watch two episodes and stop ?!? This completes the triad. I think I'll take the plunge. JasonLL and djstout like this. hutq Member Sep 11, 2019 12 5 3 Male #9 hutq, Apr 8, 2021 I watched the whole series. It was alright. I don't go around recommending it like I do Westworld. I'm also not a fan of Star Wars... lol (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
