Play online with 4-15 players as you attempt to prep your spaceship for departure, but beware as one or more random players among the Crew are Impostors bent on killing everyone. MASTER YOUR SOCIAL DEDUCTION SKILLS. Crewmates win by completing all tasks or discovering and voting the Impostors off the ship. The Impostor can use sabotage to cause chaos, making for easier kills and better alibis. Optional roles create a whole new level of gameplay. Try out the Scientist, Engineer, Guardian Angel, or Shapeshifter to create chaos! Think you’re a master of deception? Only one way to find out! CUSTOMIZE YOUR GAME. Choose how you want to play! Change the number of Impostors, roles, tasks, player visibility, and more. Play in style as you change your Crewmates’ color, visor, nameplate, outfit, and hat. More customization options are planned to be continually added in. PLAY WITH ANYONE. Cross-platform play is supported. Play with friends (or enemies?) between PC, mobile, or console! Not sure about the new “quick” chat; I think years of messaging practice and suggestions probably make regular chat quick enough for most. Looks like under 18s have to use quick chat which is policed by entering your date of birth... There’s a new map on the way though I believe; quite looking forward to that. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,716 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #3 squarezero, Mar 15, 2021 Last edited: Mar 15, 2021 This game has been a lifesaver for my son during the pandemic — a fun and casual way to get together with friends online that he sorely needed. Not really my kind of game, but from everything I’ve seen it’s smart and well made. Haven’t played Among Us in a while but I remember being surprised that it lacked mic support and voice is used using third party apps like discord. Hopefully with the rise of popularity they’re able to add native voice comms in a future update although quick chat might help someone like me who isn’t the quickest using the in game messenger. Not my favorite game to play since I’m personally not that social in video games but I find the game incredibly entertaining to watch. Overall if the popularity of Among Us leads to continued support for a long time and other social mystery games down the road that are able to add a bit to the formula than I’m all for it.
