Framed for a murder you didn't commit, you'll delve into a world of assassins, deadly corporate intrigue and... tactical cats. Skillful shooting, bullet physics, and sneaky stealth all play a role in the ultra-colorful kinetic frenzy. Spin the camera to see every angle of beautiful micro Tokyo and discover a huge range of weapons, secrets and stories. The city is your playground. All it takes is one stray bullet to put an end to your story, so shoot first and make it count. Take out high-profile targets, leap across rooftops, and survive technicolor bullet hell. Tokyo awaits, and only the best will survive. Gorgeous Open-World: Bursting with detail and crazy AI, Tokyo 42 brings a vivid cyberpunk future to life. The gorgeous, hand-crafted cityscape hides a multitude of secrets for urban explorers to uncover. Assassination Action: Stealth, shooting, and quite a bit of parkour — you'll need them all to finish the job and get away clean. Multiple Difficulty Levels: Choose the level of challenge that fits you best, and adjust at any time. Each mission has optional ninja, ronin, and roninja ratings to up the ante even further. Choose Your Approach: Do you prefer to finish jobs quietly and with as little attention as possible? Or would you rather make some noise and get away in the ensuing chaos? Smaceshi's Castles: In addition to the main campaign, Lord Smaceshi's got a challenge: 90 nefarious tests for the ultimate assassin. From city-chase puzzles to mid-air rocket launcher fights, Smaceshi's Castles will push your stealth, combat, and parkour skills to the limit. Originally developed by SMAC for PC and console, Tokyo 42 is making its mobile debut as part of GameClub. ************************************************** GameClub is a subscription mobile gaming service. Not wanting another subscription. Oh well, I have it on Xbox. Gwarmaxx likes this. I have subscribed at times to check out games I missed back in the day, but I do wish there was an option to buy their games as well. This is such fantastic game, I’m curious to see how it translates to mobile. Might have to use my GC trial for this although it does look like the sort of thing you’d like to come back to for a blast now and again. Maybe one for the Xbox. Edit: So, a few things: I can’t see any mention of this on iOS before this release (it did seem odd as it’s the sort of thing that would be on my radar), I’m guessing this is being published for the first time by GameClub. Is this the first time they’ve done that? I’m playing it without having a subscription; does GameClub offer a trial per game now? Have they always done that? Game wise, it’s very small in terms of player character/enemies; hard to play levels of small and that’s on a Max. Maybe one for a pad. It does seem like the kind of thing I’d love though. I liked it so much I bought it for Xbox later so I could play it again when my PC died. Tbh, everything in game always seemed small, even on a PC/TV... so either it’s a design choice or my old man eyes aren’t what they used to be. MetaGonzo likes this. Or does it not work that way? This is the second game they've done that with following Chook & Sosig: Walk the Plank. Some more info here. They do offer limited trials for every game, and I believe it's been that way since the beginning. There is supposed to be an update to help address this, but I'm not sure if the version that's live now actually is the updated version and it was somehow even smaller before or if that update has yet to arrive. Either way I agree, it's very teeny tiny, but still playable. It doesn't work that way. decript and MetaGonzo like this.
