Nothing more, nothing less. djstout Well-Known Member Jul 21, 2011 2,685 105 63 Sportscaster & football (soccer) coach Taiwan & Japan #5 djstout, Mar 3, 2021 It is harmless but it’s a bit brainless unfortunately, they turned their great puzzle game into a tasteless high-score chaser. solarnya likes this. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #6 metalcasket, Mar 3, 2021 The last thing I would want from Blue Wizard is another variant on the Slayaway Camp formula. With that, Friday the 13th, and another one, they'd certainly be considered a one trick pony...and it's not like they "turned" those games into this one. They're still available and supported. Maybe it's just me, but I legitimately think this is a perfectly fine entry point for folks to the IP as a whole. It's also entirely harmless from a free to play aspect. *shrugs* anthony78 likes this. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,126 703 113 #7 anthony78, Mar 3, 2021 It gets better the further you get. Enemies, traps and other hazards change and it gets more challenging. I like it, especially for just $1 to remove ads. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #8 metalcasket, Mar 3, 2021 Yeah, I just spent some more time with the game, and there's definitely more of their signature puzzling as you get farther...things such as micro-managing your traversal according to the placement of animals, for example. I'm really enjoying it. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #9 metalcasket, Mar 3, 2021 Have you turned on the Crossy Road-esque tap-to-move-forward option? Makes a world of difference. ShinHadoukin Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2015 970 141 43 #10 ShinHadoukin, Mar 4, 2021 I have. I think I do like it better. Both options are fine really. However, when I first started playing I kept wanting to swipe & hold. I’ve played enough to get my brain trained now. Thanks for the heads-up. Seems like the graphics could use a little polish but, other than that, all good here! Agreed. Not a deal breaker for me though. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
