Any game that requires a lawyer to review the fine print doesn't deserve to be in Apple's App Store. shallotgames Well-Known Member Patreon Gold Jul 15, 2017 57 18 8 http://shallotgames.com #6 shallotgames, Feb 4, 2021 Hey, totally understand the sentiment, and I'm sorry that's a deterrent for you. I promise we're not doing anything nefarious with your data - unfortunately the legalese is just in place to protect us from any potential lawsuits, especially in light of the increasing GDPR/privacy laws worldwide. As a small company, one lawsuit would probably wipe us out. In Tides, the only data we're personally collecting is gameplay analytics via Facebook analytics and Appsflyer (you completed X step of the tutorial, unlocked X island, caught X fish, etc, to help us fix any problem areas that we see in the game). Our ad networks (Google, Unity, AppLovin) do collect IDFA to attribute installs, and serve you ads in the game, though IDFA collection is going away across the board (per Apple) in a couple of months. If you'd like any more specific information I'm happy to share! We have ideas for ways to flesh them out a little more, but that'll be a little further down the roadmap Alberto O. New Member Feb 11, 2021 2 0 1 Male #9 Alberto O., Feb 11, 2021 Music and artworks are dope, i've found attention to details playing it. For sure it's a quality work from a technical point of view, i feel like it maybe gets boring on the long run due to the repetitive and super easy game design, but as of my understanding this is still a WIP. On a side note, imo there's too much of a gap between the price to build the Blackstone and the Duneworth totem. Good job overall! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
