I better start simple, being the first with a new game on this forum this year: The playground: a floor with tiles. Swipe a tile and it will change places with it's neighbour. Adjacent tiles of the same color will disappear. Your object: clear the floor. Above 2 screenshots. I thought a basic concept can be best demonstrated in a basic layout. So no flashy stuff, no sound, no ads, no in app purchases. I played the game quite a lot myself and maybe it's strange to say, but the game teaches me to work organized: It doesn't seem to work to go for the quick destruction of tiles leaving a playground full of loose ends and holes. Instead, a little extra effort keeping the floor in a neat rectangular form gives a much higher chance to solve this puzzle. So for all chaotic types like me. Learn how hard it is to get organized here. Have fun, and a happy new year. The link to the app store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id1546549213 Capice ! Marcelo Pars No ads, no in app purchases. For a moment I thought you’d made a Match-3, but of course it’s not that. Thanks for yet another brain burner. Takes a few minutes to get the strategy; definitely plan ahead, avoid leaving spaces, and, as you say, keep it rectangular! The concept of this game is so simple that I wouldn't be surprized if the puzzle is already out there, but from your response I make up you haven't seen it before. I'm working my way up in Tom Cutrofello's puzzle blog from the year 2009 till today. I'm in the middle of 2016 but I haven't spotted this game yet. I assume you know his blog, but if you don't, have a look. It's fun. Asp Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2017 769 196 43 #4 Asp, Jan 3, 2021 Thanks for the tip Marcelo about Tom Cutrofello’s blog. I hadn’t seen it and sure looks to be a great source of puzzlers to work through! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
