David H Ahl’s book, Basic Computer Games, has the source code of a version of this game for the Data General Nova 800 mini computer with 32K magnetic core memory! I’m impressed with that bit of history! Very interesting. I tried the lite version and it’s a bit too strategy oriented for my taste. UI seems like it could be streamlined a little too. It’s certainly playable though.
