I might give it a try. I also sent it along to my daughter who loves games like this. (edit) The IAPs for vehicles are somewhat concerning; I hope they can be unlocked in-game. I'll see if the game is also ad heavy and report back at some point. (edit2) I only played a couple levels, but didn't run into any ads so far. Currently I keep trying to get the third star on the second level. I have to get under 7 seconds, and so far have managed to get exactly 7 seconds. I feel like the interface could be a bit snappier, particularly when you first launch the game. I'm also finding moving commands around to be a bit difficult on my phone, but that's mainly because I have chonky fingers and have to hit tiny arrows. I'm sure I'll have less trouble on my iPad. I feel like it would be better if you could just drag them around, instead of having to click on the arrows to move them up or down the list. Hondune Well-Known Member Feb 22, 2009 204 6 18 #3 Hondune, Dec 18, 2020 Hey, there are 10 vehicles unlockable while playing the game. The rest are purchased but only for visual appeal, they do not have better stats or anything necessary to complete the game. You unlock at least on vehicle of each "type" throughout the course of the game, and these base vehicles cannot even be purchased. You gotta play to get them just like the good ol days getting exactly the time required is a bit unfortunate The time displayed is rounded, chances are you got something like 7.05 seconds or something. The key is to use different brake strengths! You do not need to do the command goal and the time goal at the same time, you can complete them separately. So feel free to use as many commands as necessary to get that time goal! Ads are fairly spaced out. It will only show an ad in between levels and only if you have been playing for a certain amount of time since the last ad view. I try not to be rude about it, I understand how annoying they are (and believe me if people were willing to just pay a couple bucks for apps id MUCH rather do that!) About the interface being snappier, do you have any specific recommendations? You mean just the amount of clicks it takes to get into a level, or the amount of time it takes to animate transitions and whatever else? About the buttons re ordering buttons being small on small phones/big fingers, I am working on a solution for this. You cant drag them because then you wouldnt be able to scroll through the list. I tried tap and hold but it felt fiddly. I will figure something out though! Son of Anarchy likes this. Also good to know. I was able to beat the 7 seconds, and now I'm stuck beating the time on the next level. I think I'm going to try to stop worrying about times for now and come back to them later. I ran across my first ad when moving from level 2 to 3 this morning. I will say that the #1 thing that makes me bail on a game (assuming I'm enjoying it otherwise) is ads; even less obtrusive ads. The ones I tend to stick will provide a way to disable the ads, or makes them opt-in for hints or double score, that kind of thing. If they are just gatekeepers to the game, I soon start to question why I'm wasting my time with them. That said, I just realized you have a "Jumps and Stunts" level pack that adds 20 levels and disables ads. Nice, and bought, although you may want to point that out elsewhere for people like me who aren't entirely observant. Sorry, yes, the speed of the menu animations is what I was referring to. Maybe twice as fast as they are now. I was thinking of the interface where there's a textured "grip" looking icon where you currently have the arrows that allows the instructions to be dragged, and sliding anywhere else will allow for scrolling. I found this and it shows basically what I mean: Thank you for the reply, and I'll keep playing. I also look forward to the "coming soon" level packs. And yes any in app purchase will remove interstitial ads from the game. I added text to the purchases that say that but I might need to make it a bit bigger. Thanks for continuing to play and for the level pack purchase! I hope youre enjoying it Collin likes this. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
