That trial period should be enough to get a glimpse of what's in store for us. yankeeblue000 likes this. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,966 718 113 England #4 psj3809, Dec 16, 2020 Oh god, depressing to read this, 1 star review in the US app store... "So I pre-ordered this game excited for its release then I just open the game and I see that I only get 45 minutes of play for free. I understand if you need more money but just put in app purchases that’s what therefore to make money. I shouldn’t have to only play for 45 minutes turn out to like the game and then I have to suffer because I can’t play a game that I like even more. If you put your heart into it for years then maybe you would respect the fact the people are really going to want to play the game for free. You can put in app purchases and make it to where they’re ads every once in a while. Extremely disappointed with this game was looking forward to it, all to be disappointed be disappointed" I love premium games and these 'try before you buy' versions are a great idea. Plus it says at the start to play for 45 mins. But this part of their review.... "If you put your heart into it for years then maybe you would respect the fact the people are really going to want to play the game for free" ^Nearly makes me cry reading stuff like that ! Totally crazy. Hello restaurant, i've enjoyed your food you made, please respect the fact that people will want to eat for free... Anyway so far a really nice game, enjoying it, i'll unlock the rest later for sure. Feels a bit strange in portrait as i'm so used to landscape games on my iphone but really liking this Solarclipse, yankeeblue000 and sebgo like this. sebgo Well-Known Member Dec 26, 2010 832 397 63 Male 95% leisure. That way, users will get the chance before investing. This game's IAP store is the best I've seen so far, with it being practically part of the game, and not just some pop-up screen or submenu with a price tag. The one finger mechanics (I haven't played it much, maybe there'll be additional controls involved) make it perfect for playing on the go without worrying much about how you're holding your phone. Single-handedly play is always welcome. That ★☆☆☆☆ review was probably posted by this kid or their parents. By default however it should be turned on (Cant remember if it is or not). But i also get mad when you hear some sad story about 'i've lost my phone and its got the only pictures i have of my poor mum/child/wife/husband etc before they died. So the ONLY pictures you have are on your phone and you dont even think of backing it up ? Just crazy Anyway back to the game ! Did the first level, really like it, difficulty level is nice and easy to begin with, controls well. I'll unlock it for sure but i wish it was landscape not portrait. Just need to get used to that a bit more yankeeblue000 and sebgo like this. sebgo Well-Known Member Dec 26, 2010 832 397 63 Male 95% leisure. (A bit mindblown by some games that offer this). I think the portrait view in this one is appropriate for its camera angle/perspective. Also, since controls seem to be one-finger, portrait view allows for holding the device (iPhones) firmly with a single hand. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,966 718 113 England #8 psj3809, Dec 16, 2020 Yeah i'm not a fan of portrait games normally, sooo used to landscape on iphones but yeah the way the controls work its pretty good for controlling. Do need another finger really to fire. Looking forward to playing this much more later. To this day look at reviews of Super Mario Run on the App Store or Google Play. It's like 3.5/5 just because people are not willing to pay for the full game bombing it with 1 star reviews just because there's an IAP unlocking the rest of the game. Ridiculous. If I was the developer I don't know how I could handle such stupidity. yankeeblue000 likes this. Too short, but it was never a problem. But people(developers, I mean), say by this game: imagination is crucial. But all we get in this game is six types of enemies and forest/castle zones. Where is that imagination? sebgo likes this. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #11 metalcasket, Dec 17, 2020 That dude complaining about having to pay is your typical App Store idiot...take a look at THIS Twitter hot take: "This business model is crap (for users).
