Challenging at first but didn’t take long to get familiar with the controls and HUD. It handles much like the real thing from what I saw on TV. Very stable in horizontal free fall, though seemingly slow to respond to control inputs due to its size. It’s remarkable how the rocket flips around and becomes like a lander game. Unlike the actual SH8 there’s no potential for system failures so just a matter of managing fuel and descent speed. Important to ensure a completely perpendicular landing configuration though. Doesn’t look good after a perfect starship touchdown to see it topple over a few seconds later. Next stop Mars. Thanks to Austin Meyer for making this app available.
