Here's a little info. You learn everything in the tutorial. It's not chess *wink *wink but your pieces and moves are the same as that in chess. If you eat a piece. you turn into that piece, so you have to look at everything closely as most pieces are decoys and you have a limited number of moves to eat a coin which takes you to the next level. It's a neat puzzle game for sure. I am pretty good at chess so I skipped to the hard mode right away crevasse likes this. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #5 macplash, Dec 9, 2020 I'm still on the fence here. I love chess even though I'm far from being particularly good at it. But the description says this game's not a chess. Also, and the main reason I didn't instantly purchase it yet is the "no chess knowledge required" text in the trailer. I, on the contrary, would like to put my chess knowledge to the use here. Last but not least, there are already some reviews on the App Store about the puzzles being too easy. I was hoping for something that would pull my attention from Zach Gage's Really Bad Chess for a while. I'm just currently too chess obsessed after watching the Queen's Gambit on Netflix. On the other hand I'm a fan of puzzle games in general. So, it's hard to decide as I don't wanna be disappointed by the lack of chess in this game. Oh, I just don't know... crevasse Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Apr 14, 2018 175 71 28 Male Indie Game Developer Transylvania https://links.crevasse.co #6 crevasse, Dec 9, 2020 If you're very into chess then it's maybe not a good pick as you'll may find the puzzles too easy. Feels like a right thing to do. And who knows - I might take a different approach and go in with an expectation of a puzzle game only very lightly related to chess. Would love to hear your feedback on this; There are a few coins on the board; players must carefully plan and create a strategy to collect all the coins using the limited moves available. I’m really enjoying the game and its unique mechanics. You’re forced to plan your next few moves ahead given the move limitation per level. The smooth animations and snazzy graphics provide some soothing eye-candy. For a future build, please consider the option to disable the music while keeping the sound effects. Other than this minor niggle, the game is a fantastic abstract puzzler. crevasse likes this. crevasse Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Apr 14, 2018 175 71 28 Male Indie Game Developer Transylvania https://links.crevasse.co #13 crevasse, Jun 21, 2024 Thank you so much for downloading and playing the game! Took a break and upon returning, my progress was deleted. Do I have to start all over every single time I exit and re-enter this mode?
