Your initial duck lays an egg, and any duck has a chance to be born with a mutation in one of three body parts, and eggs can be upped one tier to further increase the pool of available characteristics. The gameplay comes from strategically determining which ducks you keep in the population to lend their parts to the next generation, as each duck has a chance of passing its genes/parts onto it offspring, with a goal of assembling 99 named duck sets. You can see which two ducks contributed to any egg. Unwanted ducks get chucked down a 300 style pit. There isn’t enough space to keep one of each named duck, unfortunately.
