The Eugene dude's dialogues are hilarious and I chuckled out loud multiple times already. I just wish it was fully voice-acted (like the intro), but it's not a dealbreaker. I love the planning process at waypoints. It's not just a bridge building but pretty complex (planning ahead) strategy game. Reminds me of a Door Kickers (not Action Squad). And I really like how it's story driven. I'm really pleased with this one. We'll see how much content is there. Hopefully there's a lot to do. Definitely recommended. ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #6 ste86uk, Nov 19, 2020 I’m enjoying the game and as above it definitely feels more tactical and I was looking forward to it after seeing the videos. It already feels more involving and like there’s more thought you have to put into passing a level. If you like bridge constructor type games it’s easy to recommend and say just buy this, if you don’t like them or aren’t sure this may be worth checking out given the walking dead tie in and the added tactics on missions through giving instructions and not just simply building bridges. With that said I already got stuck! I’m sure I’ll figure it out though and the level before it I didn’t kill all of the walkers but you get the badge for being under budget but I still want those kills! DonnyDJ76 Well-Known Member Nov 1, 2011 1,793 58 48 Male Teacher Hackensack, NJ #7 DonnyDJ76, Nov 19, 2020 I’m wondering how many levels there are in each chapter. So far this is a lot of fun and strategic. Chapter 1 has 8 levels. Not sure about the other 4. cy@n Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2011 1,812 17 38 "Mein Land" #8 cy@n, Nov 22, 2020 Last edited: Nov 24, 2020 I played mission 1 today. 6000 points should be possible. I may let this one slide, but yeah, the last few weeks of purchases have been souring as a whole. This is NOT how you treat early adopters, ffs. I think Bloodstained will be my last insta-purchase moving forward, and I could honestly not give two shits if that goes on sale the next morning. macplash and ste86uk like this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #13 ste86uk, Nov 25, 2020 @metalcasket I’m not letting it slide I’ll just refund and buy again. But it is very annoying especially when you think they should reward early adopters if anything and not punish them. Very cheap tactic. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #14 metalcasket, Nov 25, 2020 Do it. Y’all have it good in the EU. Even though my My Memory of Us refund went through no questions asked, that was the last attempted refund that didn’t have me going through representatives and all that shit. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #15 ste86uk, Nov 25, 2020 Yeh it’s pretty easy now I always get a refund if I ask for one which really isn’t very often at all. But in the past I’ve been questioned many times but I think that was before the rules changed as it was a pain then I’d have to wait to chat to somebody and get them to approve my refund by explaining why I wanted it refunded. Now I just click refund and right of withdrawal and done. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #16 metalcasket, Nov 25, 2020 Yeah, you’ve got a 14 day no questions asked policy backing you up. How this isn’t standard across all App Stores is beyond bizarre. Anyway, fuck it...I was able to request a refund through Safari, but of course a representative will contact me within 48 hours. Screw it, I’m willing to fight this one out. ste86uk likes this. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #17 macplash, Nov 25, 2020 It’s like we’re being treated differently on iOS. There was a launch sale on Steam (still is I think even though it’s only 10%, but it’s a launch sale nonetheless), but these practices makes me sad. How many times we’ve been burned like this? I understand it’s just a few bucks, but it’s not the point. And 66% discount a week after launch? I have no words. If it happens within 14 days of my purchase I always refund them and buy again. If it happens after that it still sucks if it’s within a month or so but after that I don’t care very much unless it was a very expensive game like if Xcom 2 did it massively reduced. metalwastebasket Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2017 161 55 28 #19 metalwastebasket, Nov 25, 2020 Yeah, it's gross. @ste86uk My refund request was rejected, btw.
