Strap those boots on, gear up and get ready to hunt space crooks! This is a story driven action game with an emphasis on stealth and tactical combat. It continues the quirky story from the prequels, but you don't need any previous knowledge to enjoy this one. TRY BEFORE BUY Try the first couple of levels out for free before you decide if this is for you. We're a small indie studio developing this game and we'll have to release it one chapter at the time. Each chapter will be sold separately, but there won't be any other in-app purchases. We hope you'll enjoy the game! TACTICAL COMBAT Use the environment to your advantage. Avoid attacks by taking cover. Flank enemies for extra efficiency, but avoid getting flanked yourself! Use the tools of the trade to gain an edge - distractions, smoke grenades, flash bangs, traps and much more... STEALTH Choose your approach carefully. Some say running into the fray, guns blazing, isn’t always the answer. Use distractions to single out opponents. Use stealth take-downs and silenced weapons to covertly reduce the enemy numbers. Hack gun turrets to turn on their masters. Lure different enemy factions together and let them fight each other. LOAD-OUT & GEAR Choosing your load-out is a big part of your tactics. In addition to body armor and grenades you can carry one two-handed and one single-handed weapon - and there’s something for everyone. Big ones, small ones, loud ones, silenced ones, beaming ones, bouncy ones and more. Finding it frustrating so far if I’m honest, cruised through the first mission although I completed it and didn’t think I was done yet and had yet to get 1 elite enemy so I started again but it seems like you can’t continue from checkpoints as on the second try I rushed and got ambushed which made it a pain in the ass instead of being stealthy! But I tried to quit and load back up and it just restarts the mission from the beginning all the time...which makes me wonder what the checkpoints are even for. Edit: ok I’ve completed the first mission enough times to unlock every reward from it, it was fun in the end and the checkpoints didn’t matter really...still not sure why they exist. Did the first run stealth and then when I knew the lay of the land all my other runs I just obliterated everyone in the way of my objective. Made it fun trying out the new unlocks that I got each run. And obviously I’ve just purchased the full unlock too. brerlappin Well-Known Member Feb 10, 2009 722 30 28 #6 brerlappin, Nov 5, 2020 On my iPad Air 2, the backgrounds don’t seem to be as sharp as the first two games, with wavy lines I spots. Hopefully the graphics toggle will fix it. Solarclipse Well-Known Member Jul 30, 2012 879 64 28 #7 Solarclipse, Nov 5, 2020 Instabuy! I've played the first 3 or 4 levels. This was my first time playing SM with a controller. It's good but not much better— the virtual console have always been good with this game engine. There's a new thing with quasi-neutral enemies—yellow vision cones. The bazaar coins, now you have a choice what to buy with them. I think last time they were in a vending machine and you had no choice, you just keep unlocking things. Anyhow, seems like good level design so far, graphics are good. Maybe the characters are a little smaller now, but maybe that's just me getting old. 2020 man Son of Anarchy likes this. Honestly my favorite series of games on mobile, full stop, and just gets better with every iteration. Keep up the good work, devs! Anyone else getting a weird bug every now and then where the controls randomly and suddenly go completely unresponsive for like 15 seconds? Game keeps playing, enemies keep moving/shooting/whatever, even my character keeps moving in the direction I was moving in when the bug starts. Just doesn't seem to receive any new inputs during the 15 second duration. Has happened to me 3-4 times now as I've played the first 5-6 levels, a few times during boss battles (which generally led to me quickly dying). I'm playing on an iPhone 6s, so maybe my phone's just getting old, but the weird thing is that even the home and power buttons don't work during this bug. I've never had the home button go unresponsive on any app before. After about 15 seconds, everything goes back to normal. Very odd. I've been playing on max resolution, and recently switched from high to medium graphics settings. Never had this bug with Space Marshals 1 or 2. Solarclipse Well-Known Member Jul 30, 2012 879 64 28 #12 Solarclipse, Nov 7, 2020 @ste86uk: check points are where you start if you die. Deaths lower your score and gear reward. Being stealthy and using sleep holds is really useful. If you get a quiet weapon you can hit someone from behind (it will say ambush) and score more damage. If you want to go guns blazing a shotgun is good but close range. I enjoy playing more stealth generally, the strategy is now satisfying @rhinofinger i am using the Xbox one controller with my iPad, no problems except one time—i thought the game froze but enemies could use, and by the time I realized my controller battery was dead, so was I I will give a tip for the first mission with the wierd Spacey guys...they wake each other up and it seems they can even bring each other back to life. Put one to sleep or kill one, hide nearby and wait for another one to hear the distress call. They will focus on recussitating the one you knocked down. Meanwhile, you come up and choke them out or shoot them, repeat. Get a few stacked up until no more come. That's the trick, if any come over while you are away, they will all come back. Both those and the scrapper enemies are.a nice switch up as far as strategies from the first two. You don’t want this to happen while the robot is going up or down a ladder. I reported the bug to PB, but it ends up giving you a black screen amd you cant get visuals back. There were two in there originally, if I remember correctly. The lever near the entrance to that area (top-left side, if that makes sense) toggles between which of the two corner cells are open. So originally you’d have to pull it to get one coin, then come back and pull it again to change which cell is open.
