I’m right in to StS, Dream quest, Pirates Outlaws etc so this is looking good. I’m glad they’ve gone for a premium price. Now does it stack up....I’m reading reviews on steam right now. The cards can only be played once and you die when you’re out of cards mechanics are different enough that it doesn’t feel like a clone, but still scratches that itch for a roguelike deck builder (I also love StS, Pirates Outlaws, Meteorfall and Dreamquest). Also enjoying that there’s a tactical combat element with the monsters being laid out on a grid, and the story and music do a good job of setting the mood. The only thing I’d flag is that there appear to be 2 modes that were added to other versions already that here appear to be DLC. I don’t have a problem with that at all since we’re paying $4 for a game that is $18 on other platforms. But it’s a little confusing since they are listed as “xx$” and clearly can’t be bought right now, but if you click on buy the game freezes. If dev is reading, recommend you take this part out until you’ve settled on pricing system/how you’ll release content (I’d gladly pay more for these), or at least replace with coming soon so it doesn’t freeze. Still, I’ve been bored with most of my games lately and am super happy to have something I’m excited to play. Definitely recommend if you’ve enjoyed other roguelike deckbuilders. Talbs likes this. Also, you can select two paths as well.
