I am really on the fence with episodic games... Any imps? My usual route in episodic games. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #4 ste86uk, Sep 24, 2020 I guess the trouble is will it ever get completed is a worry with episodic games. L.Lawliet and Ijipop like this. Rocksaint Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2013 666 367 63 #5 Rocksaint, Sep 25, 2020 Completed the first quest...so to say. And I am quite enjoying it. The writing is good and captivating. The story and characters (thus far) seem interesting. The game really pulls your imagination into their world. Combat is simplistic and almost card-like where the deck setup matters. (The deck-building is not overwhelming...thank god!) There are DnD elements to combat outcomes as well as in certain encounters. Some light RPG elements thrown in there for good measure as well. I am always a fan of the “try before you buy” model and thus far, I am quite interested in this one. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
