The combat is super simple (no blocking, not dodging), which says grindfest to me. But it sure is pretty... Missions are short too, but you are encourage to explore and battle after you defeat the main boss. I’ll give it a couple of days. ShinHadoukin Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2015 946 126 43 #9 ShinHadoukin, Sep 22, 2020 Better be good....not impressed on character select screen. Pascal’s Wager immediately looks better to me. The beauty is this games selling point really. Rocksaint Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2013 591 276 63 #10 Rocksaint, Sep 22, 2020 Early impressions, but I don't see a lot different from the tons of other F2P ARPGs I've already played before. I could be wrong though. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,499 1,027 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #11 squarezero, Sep 22, 2020 I don’t think you are. There’s really not much to the exploration, and the way it’s broken into “digestible” chunks just kills the immersion for me. I have better uses for 7 GBs on my phone. Dema9o9uehutq Member Mar 28, 2019 21 13 3 Male #16 Dema9o9uehutq, Sep 23, 2020 I'm really enjoying this game so far. It seems to be the closest thing to Diablo on mobile and the iap is very unnecessary. You can play this game for free without having to worry about paying if you want. Darkfyra Well-Known Member Jan 14, 2017 157 6 18 #17 Darkfyra, Sep 23, 2020 So it might be the closest on mobile to Path of Exile? My guess is it shows up after 2-3 hrs, and it is so massive that the walls of Jericho looks like sand walls on a beach. Sladecut Well-Known Member Jul 4, 2019 45 12 8 Male #19 Sladecut, Sep 24, 2020 Well on the positive side I didn’t notice a “auto battle” button that plague these types of games, but only played for a short time maybe it’s introduced later! But not worth 7gb for me subgenius Well-Known Member May 30, 2014 149 34 28 #20 subgenius, Sep 24, 2020 So far it's honestly a fun ride. I'm about 2-3 hours in and have barely spent any of my gold (which they at the start seem to be giving away by the bucketload at least), bought any gear or upgraded any skills. Main issue is it's very, very easy so far, with the only challenge being the first act boss (there are 10 acts) taking a little dancing to avoid shots. There are quite a few skills to try out and a huge upgrade tree thing that I haven't spent much time in. There are also vendors and upgrade people all over the main city hub that don't unlock until later levels, so it seems there is a lot of content. We'll see, I'll keep going for awhile longer. Just hope the difficulty ramps slightly soon so the gameplay gets more interesting. But really it's not that different from early Diablo in normal mode right? The real question is how it plays once you're further along in the game. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
