I am really liking the game with all those hints nicely spread around, not only the text, but some visual like the tree size. One thing I want to see improved is the fog around the upper left trees. The fog covers the name as well as the interactive icon. slarti88 Active Member Apr 30, 2015 34 5 8 Freelance software developer #5 slarti88, Aug 30, 2020 Thanks for pointing that out. I'll be pushing an update with that fix and some others as well soon. Bought the full version after solving just one puzzle! Just one question for the dev: in the first puzzle it seemed as though there were some brother pairs that were indistinguishable near the end, and I had to just guess which way around their names went. Is there a logical way to work those out or is there a small element of trial and error at the end? slarti88 Active Member Apr 30, 2015 34 5 8 Freelance software developer #7 slarti88, Sep 1, 2020 Glad you're enjoying the game! Yes there is a bit of trial and error involved unfortunately ,but usually it boils down to choosing between two similar trees, as the rest Can be eliminated using logic. Heck, I would rather there were fewer trees than ones that have nothing to say. Still enjoying the game though, and was quite pleasantly surprised by the change in mechanics after the first puzzle. slarti88 Active Member Apr 30, 2015 34 5 8 Freelance software developer #9 slarti88, Sep 1, 2020 I think I'll add a couple of more clues in certain levels to reduce the guessing required. That does seem to be the biggest pain point! The mechanics vary slightly in between levels and greatly in between chapters. The last two chapters are purely based on logic so you shouldn't need to guess. (Although sometimes guessing might speed things up) Echoseven likes this. I’ve finished the first chapter (really enjoyed!) and bought the in-app for the other chapters but I can’t seem to access them? When I finish the first chapter I get brought to an inescapable ‘The End’ screen, and rebooting the app doesn’t unlock the other chapters. Really want to play the rest! TheGreatEscaper Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2014 1,025 22 38 #11 TheGreatEscaper, Sep 2, 2020 Props to the dev for being very responsive in my DMs to help fix the issue! I’m into the second chapter now and the game just keeps getting better and better. Strong recommendation to anyone who loves a little bit of logic, and the setting/story are woven into the clues and the puzzles in a really cool way! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
