There are 3 save slots, but you cannot save to other slots (If you load save1, you can only save on save1). If you die, you respawn in the town with all the gold lost, but you get to keep all the items you purchased. There is a bank in town, so if you get back to the town alive, you can deposit the gold before you go out for another adventure. You can purchase an insurance at the store which will let you keep your gold even if you die. Just a couple of quick observations. You have to make it to the first blue square room to access the options screen. Also when you do save you have to go back to the main menu and then load your game if you want to continue playing. No biggie but just slightly cumbersome. Even though you are able to play in landscape via the options (my preference for my iPad) the controls are bad. They are way too high up the screen. There is no options to adjust the size or positions of the controls. In both landscape and portrait I am struggling with the position of them. Probably it is not as bad when playing on a phone. Game needs to have some ability to adjust the controls. Game would be fantastic if it also supported a gamepad.... which it does not. The game however looks great graphically, and when I can actually play it appears to be a really fun game. I assume once I activate it I can teleport back to town. It is currently not reachable. Maybe later you get a double jump. I rarely mess up on my jumps and have gotten way better at fighting and bypassing traps. Love the game so far! I just tested again and if I run around jumping it’ll keep jumping but then randomly just go dead and do nothing for multiple presses of the jump button.
