Might only be a second to move correctly sometimes but that’s enough to lose a game. djstout Well-Known Member Jul 21, 2011 2,685 105 63 Sportscaster & football (soccer) coach Taiwan & Japan #5 djstout, Aug 7, 2020 To double your reward before each match. This could become an enjoyable game but with its current control system it is very frustrating to play. Alex DeLargest Well-Known Member Dec 16, 2010 346 122 43 Male USA/France #8 Alex DeLargest, Aug 13, 2020 Ok, I’m enough of a fan of Rocket League (or at least was) that I had to try this, and yeah, it’s gated as far progression being tied to purchases of cosmetics. You get XP to level and unlock new arenas, modes, etc by buying cosmetics. In order to go from level 1 to 2 you basically have to buy all the cosmetics available at level 1. Then new cosmetics unlock at level 2, etc. I’d imagine that the paywall doesn’t kick in until like level 3-4 but I’m also sure it’s there somewhere given how this progression works. If only they’d tied leveling to performance instead, but alas, mobile devs have to make a buck, I suppose. And yeah, the controls are ok, but something about them and the ball physics just feels a bit off. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
