It is said that a great treasure of formidable power sleeps in the deepest depths of this dimension, a treasure with enough power to return a lost dragon-half and her fairy to their own world. Thus begins our heroine’s journey through the labyrinth known as “The Tree of Time”. If Rose is defeated during the adventure, she will lose all items and her level will be reset. Furthermore, the dungeon of The Tree of Time changes its form every time you enter meaning no two quests are ever the same. Your courage and growth as an adventurer will be the keys to this quest! * Every decision holds a victory! This is a turn-based game. Rose and her enemies move in turns, giving you ample time to ponder your next action. It is wisdom and courage which will bring small victories here, ultimately leading you on the path to great triumph. * The "Fang" system: Rose can equip the Fangs of defeated monsters, gaining their abilities in the process. There are more than 200 types of monster! Fangs can be combined however you like: search for powerful combinations or just use those of your favourite monster. The possibilities are endless and each choice leads to a different adventure. * The "Brave" system: Unlike most rogue-likes where strategic use of corridors is rewarded, fighting in the open is key here! When the 8 spaces adjacent to Rose are obstacle-free, her attacks are more powerful! This overturns one of the rogue-like’s key fundamentals, breathing new life into the genre! * And more..! * Score attack mode * Item storehouse * Monster manual * Achievements * Mini puzzle dungeons * Extended dungeon for expert adventurers Information Seller:Toydea Inc. Edit: bought. Would leave imps later if possible. imp: This game app is optimized for touchscreen especially. You don't need to use "num pad directional buttons" on this game. And also it has Auto play button that's for not too serious fighting like recent mobile games have. IAPs are optional dungeons and special fangs(Store description says it has over 200 fangs those could realize special abilities available so maybe close to cheating) I've just bit this game alike mins for tutorial dungeon. Sorry in advance if my information is not too comfortable. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,037 616 113 #3 anthony78, Aug 3, 2020 Hmm..would like some more impressions. Read some reviews on Steam and sounds promising. I see that two of the IAPs are expansions just like the PC version. But what are the fangs? Are they necessary? Or just cosmetic? Jstorm Well-Known Member Feb 2, 2020 1,081 472 83 Male Employed Earth #12 Jstorm, Aug 3, 2020 According to their Twitter, the game will have 3 dungeons that are unlocked vis IAP purchase, $5 each. The fang you are talking about is purely cosmetic. So the answer is yes and no. While fangs are optional, you will have to pay additional $15 if you want to experience all the dungeons. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,502 1,028 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #13 squarezero, Aug 3, 2020 Keep in mind that even with all the IAPs, the game is significantly cheaper on mobile than on Steam or Switch. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,037 616 113 #14 anthony78, Aug 3, 2020 Grabbed it. I enjoyed it on Switch and Steam, a pretty clever take on the Shiren Mystery Dungeon gameplay with the Fangz system as its unique gimmick. Fangz are dropped by defeated monsters and will allow you to pull off cool unique abilities based on the monster you got it from. You can equip up to 3 of them at a time. Another interesting bit of the Fangz mechanic is that to power them up you need to fight monsters while not adjacent to any wall or obstacle. This is clearly a gimmicky bit to entice a player away from playing it safe by fighting monsters 1 at a time in a narrow hallway. The two succubi fangs, for instance, give +maximum HP and +defense at the cost of lowering your level, which makes no difference if you use them at level 1. Another fang, if you sacrifice it, instantly gives you six levels. Other fangs, if you equip them, provide bonus stats or whatnot. Although you can only equip 3 fangs at a time, you can bring up to 20 fangs into the each dungeon run. Bear in mind though, you can only bring in these "cheat" fangs into the main game dungeons. The DLC dungeons do not allow you to bring these items or any others into the dungeon runs. Ijipop likes this. You need to complete the main dungeon (the 30 floor one) up to level 10 before you can unlock the DLC dungeons ($5 each, 3 total). The IAP fangs can be used on every run if you like. You don't lose them ever (as far as I can tell). There are 25 fangs total.
