Pretty fair IMO Rocksaint Well-Known Member Nov 29, 2013 666 367 63 #6 Rocksaint, Jul 9, 2020 Well. When a game is trying to push me towards an IAP just to have an optimal experience, that’s never a good sign for me. There is a difference between encouraging and influencing. This one feels like influence to me. Sadly. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #7 ste86uk, Jul 9, 2020 £5.99 for ad removal seems like a lot or does that make it more of a premium game? Seems like it wouldn’t considering it still has the other IAP’s. solarnya Well-Known Member Jul 22, 2015 907 287 63 Male Close to Tokyo, Japan #8 solarnya, Jul 9, 2020 As a fan of prequel, it's alike premium game by paying that. However if you don't want to pay any dime, you could buy all the IAP items in it by paying in-game currency.(of course until that, you might need to watch lots of ads meanwhile you complete to earn that cost, in this game) Its system is very unique in my opinion. PBSNellie Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2013 1,381 168 63 Southern CA #9 PBSNellie, Jul 9, 2020 From what I can see, you also get 5k coins and bottle caps also for the 5.99. Can anyone confirm that any other purchase will also remove ads? Someone suggested it above but it doesn't indicate that in the game. It is pretty fun. Jstorm Well-Known Member Feb 2, 2020 1,082 474 83 Male Employed Earth #10 Jstorm, Jul 9, 2020 Wells I don’t think the post above meant that other IAP purchases remove ads. My guess is, what s/he meant is that all the in game items can be acquired without IAPs, but doing so will result in watching many ads. As far as I can tell, the starter pack is primarily for ad removal. The in game currency that comes with the pack isn’t much once you start hitting floor 50 or so. However, the money from the pack surely did boost my progress speed at early stages as I used them on purchasing stools and buildings. solarnya and PBSNellie like this. Once you go up to the 100th floor and beat the Dark Lord, he will escape via a portal like he did at the opening. You will follow him via a portal at the town, which should remove all your gold and items. With inherit, I think you keep certain gold (6k?). geoelectric Well-Known Member Apr 22, 2010 464 22 18 San Jose, CA #17 geoelectric, Jul 10, 2020 Last edited: Jul 10, 2020 Re what bundles do, tap the taps (I know) on the right side of the bar inside the tavern. That’s bar upgrades and also where things like ad disabling live—they’re considered game mechanic upgrades. You’ll find Allsight (always show enemy HP without carrying the Sight Stone) and Inheritance (Keep more money across prestiges) there. Also, just hinted at it with prestige, but at the end of the day this is a fancy incremental game, with the mechanics and bar upgrades being the slowly unlocking thing that keeps it interesting. Don’t expect anything else, unless they took this seriously beyond the first version of the game (doesn’t seem so on my first 100 levels). You can technically play it like a JRPG battler but it’s pretty simplistic for that. You’ll probably keep it on auto most of the time. But it’s a really addicting one for a decent while until you get flat bored and wander off. There’s a decent amount of casual tactics involved with gear configuration and other optimization. I bought the starter bundle, and don’t generally pay for idle games unless they’re very good.
