It's just being obscured by menus and ideas that have been definitely cooked up by people who work on F2P games. I soooooooo wanted to take advantage of the launch sale for the full unlock, but like you said, everything other than the core gameplay is so off-putting. There's a very good game underneath all of it. Different game modes. So many different ways of utilizing the touch controls. This game could have stayed fresh for years. It's such a fresh new addition to the mobile platform. And it could serve both hardcore and casual gamers alike. But the main map, menus, UI - they all give such a clustered F2P vibe that it'll probably get lost in a market with so many games that follow the same design. It's a shame really. Still, I was ready to look past all of that and get the full game, purely because of the variety in gameplay and its freshness, but those loading screens are an absolute no-no for me. It's like so much time is being wasted just by navigating through menus. A game should encourage you to jump into its core game as much and as soon as possible.
