Driftmoon is an adventure-roleplaying game, full of exploration, smiles and surprises, captivating stories and quests, charming characters, and countless delightful details. The original pc version is an older game having been released in 2014. This is a newly released Enchanted Edition which has a whole lot of extras and graphical updates and has just been released on iOS. There are iap’s BUT they are only for extra chapters. You can actually buy the whole game for a couple of bucks so it becomes a premium game. It has been years since I played it, but I do remember I loved it at the time. It’s more of a casual rpg. You will get a good idea of it by checking out the reviews over on Steam. stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #3 stubbieoz, May 1, 2020 Share your Mystery Box Key codes; 577017 sharfaust Well-Known Member Jul 1, 2013 339 75 28 #4 sharfaust, May 1, 2020 688055 anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #5 anthony78, May 1, 2020 Urghh. Hate the touch to move controls. Oh well, plenty else to play this week. stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #6 stubbieoz, May 1, 2020 Yeah, I wish it had joystick control. I can still enjoy it though. You need to have two devices that have the game, such as an iPad and iPhone, or the pc version and now the iOS version. A lot of available download data is also needed. PM me if you haven’t worked out for yourself how to do it. Nefermet New Member May 7, 2020 2 1 1 Female #9 Nefermet, May 20, 2020 OMG you're a genius... an evil genius!!!! Avocado Avenger Member Sep 15, 2021 7 2 3 #10 Avocado Avenger, Oct 8, 2022 I am a tad late commenting on this thread, but I only recently discovered Driftmoon and feel it needs some earned recognition. Although I agree that the movement decision is not optimal (a joystick or d-pad would have been my preference), this is nonetheless a wonderful independent RPG. As stubbieoz said, there is a casualness to it, in that progression is guaranteed without being overwhelmed by certain tropes of the genre. But at the same time, I feel it offers so much of what make RPGs enjoyable - exploration and, most importantly, narration, for the writing in this game is what propels the gameplay. It is a sum of its component parts, each aspect -whether it be the basic combat, or crafting, or puzzle solving, or maps that are expansive enough (and littered with sufficient items) to urge investigation- playing a role in augmenting the witty, poignant storytelling. In all honesty, I haven't had this much fun with a game in quite some time. Do note, as well, is that there's is an extensive trial available (quite sure I was about five hours in) that does an excellent job of getting an idea of what the game offers, and as mentioned above, to unlock the whole game is a measly few dollars. stubbieoz likes this.
