This has, by far, the most aggressive ad displaying tendencies I've ever seen in my 10 years of mobile gaming. Fire up the game for the first time (pre-playing a single level)? Ad Start a level? Ad Finish a level? Ad Head out to the menu to see which level you're on? Ad Hotel? Trivago Shimm5 likes this. ROGER-NL Well-Known Member May 21, 2012 4,030 340 83 Male Gamer. Make it too lenient and you won’t feel like you need to remove the ads. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #7 anthony78, Apr 23, 2020 At least it appears they are all only 5 second ads. If they were the 30 second variety, then, yeah it would be really bad. Yu He New Member Oct 30, 2013 4 4 3 #8 Yu He, Apr 23, 2020 Dev here. I'm really sorry about the ads! It's a actually a bug. I set ads to always show on every scene change while trying to debug why the ads did not show up at all and forgot to set it back after. Will be fixed in the next update. And it sure is. It’d be a damn shame if this game went through here unnoticed. Because it is amazing! Very clever mechanics (I especially like the one introduced in one of the early levels Size Matters. But each level is really cleverly handcrafted and so far it’s been a rare sight I 3 starred any of them on my first attempt. And I love it! Even the level selection itself is unique and clever. Visually the game is stunning. The rain effect, explosions, the shaking - what a great atmosphere. I’m not particularly a fan of jazz music in general, but in this case it really doesn’t bother me at all. Somehow it feels right. Suits the game perfectly. Controls feels natural and smooth, works like a charm. 50 levels seems to be a perfect amount to keep me interested. It’s not filled with artificially stretched levels to increase their amount just for the overwhelming statistics. There’s no repetition so far. Each level feels unique and special. I appreciate it. Single IAP of 6,99€ to remove ads and unlock hats might seem a little steep for current iOS standards but I believe it’s perfectly justifiable considering the production quality, handcrafted levels and overall cleverness of game mechanics. I’d highly recommend to go for it to support the dev. For the possibility of future updates with more content, a completely new title of similar quality or simply just because... tl;dr: Visually stunning puzzler with clever game mechanics and plethora of handcrafted levels to go through. Easy recommendation. Yu He and ROGER-NL like this. ROGER-NL Well-Known Member May 21, 2012 4,030 340 83 Male Gamer. If someone is not willing to pay to remove ads, what is better: Be brutal and show as many ads as possible in the first session which will make most of the player uninstall the game ? Show a reasonable amount of ads and retain the player for a longer period ?
