Haven’t played this yet but the sprite work, theme, and bits of gameplay from the trailer remind me of the eighties game Psi-5 Trading Company plus the positive reviews on steam and from the pre order thread don’t hurt either. An intergalactic Oregon Trail sounds like a good time. Gwarmaxx likes this. I love Psi-5 despite never being very good at it. haha! I actually had at one point began implementing a version of this game where you controlled the crew just like in Psi-5 but eventually needed to shelve that as it was taking too much time to develop. It's still on my list though for a sequel if I can find the time! Thanks everyone! You basically have to jump one planet at a time to get to the final planet which is where the delivery takes place. Sometimes you may pick up a passenger or smaller package, and at those points the destination will be on the crew screen. Absolutely love all the nostalgia vibes, and the gameplay loop itself really hooks me. I do have a bug to report tho; I have noticed that I cannot retreat from space battle with my DS4 controller. Everything else works great; however there doesn't appear to be a button mapped to retreating from space/fps battle, and when I attempted to map a button (in this case, i swapped the Afterburner function to the left bumper and mapped the "retreat from space/fps battle" button to triangle, which did not work. At this point, I was unable to retreat at all as I could not push the button even with touch controls. Thus far, that's all I've found. A small issue in an otherwise awesome game! trothmaster Member Aug 11, 2014 13 8 3 Developer New Jersey https://zotnip.com #17 trothmaster, Apr 23, 2020 Glad your enjoying!! I never tried testing with a DS4, I do have one so I'll see if I can debug that. Can you let me know what phone your using? pathogen541 Well-Known Member Jun 19, 2016 503 355 63 #18 pathogen541, Apr 23, 2020 Yessir! iPhone 8, 64gig, running on iOS13.3.1 The space combat is my favorite thus far, gives me old X-Wing vibes. trothmaster Member Aug 11, 2014 13 8 3 Developer New Jersey https://zotnip.com #19 trothmaster, Apr 23, 2020 It appears that Unity (my game engine) for iOS does not support the "share" or stick buttons yet on the DS4 controller. I've yet to hear back on a timeline for when that support is coming. For now, you'll need to remap the retreat button to another button (not stick or share). I'll release an update that rebinds it off of that button by default. Sorry about that! trothmaster Member Aug 11, 2014 13 8 3 Developer New Jersey https://zotnip.com #20 trothmaster, Apr 24, 2020 If anyone is wondering, the google play version is still stuck in the review process. They claim they are very slow due to the quarantine issues. I had thought the game was already through the review, but for some reason the final beta didn't count and they are re-reviewing it. Sorry for the delay there. Also I have an update ready to go on iOS for fixing the default controller buttons. Hopefully I can upload within a day. But in the meantime, you can remap the retreat button and you'll be good to go. Thanks everyone! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
