THE NETHERLANDS #2 ROGER-NL, Apr 11, 2020 Thanks for posting ste86uk, playing this a few day’s now, it’s a fun maze like puzzler, liking it. ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #3 ste86uk, Apr 11, 2020 Only played for about 10 minutes so far but I like it and will definitely play more. Seems very simple at first but I like how it works and plays and I’m sure like everything else it’ll get really hard soon enough. ROGER-NL likes this. It’s crying out for an ingame level restart button or am I missing something? Just click back at the start it back to whatever junction you want to return to. MetaGonzo and ROGER-NL like this. Doesn’t affect the game at all but the third diamond at the bottom is cut off the screen when it easily has space to fit them all in. This is new too and I mean similar in how you are finding a path to the exit but it isn’t that simple as with yours because there are other obstacles and conditions. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #12 ste86uk, Apr 13, 2020 Just completed the free portion of the game and had to purchase it right away because it really is so good. I think the 30 levels you can play for free is very generous and the 79p for the rest of the game? It’s a steal. This is maybe one of my favourite puzzlers for a little while, it’s just so clean and beautiful yet simple but very clever. macplash and ROGER-NL like this. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #13 macplash, Apr 13, 2020 So I finally had a chance to try this game based on @ste86uk feedback and I have to agree with what’s been said already - so clean and beautiful. At first I was missing the restart button too but tapping on the starting tile works fine, although a separate button could’ve been more obvious and convenient. Maybe it’ll make its way to the game eventually. Oh, and I’d love to have Game Center achievements. Just for a sense of accomplishment. So far it seems there’s more than one solution to each level, which would be great, but I’m still in 1st chapter only. So it might be just a feeling during the simple levels - we’ll see. But either way, the game’s very polished and puzzles seems to be clever enough to keep me interested. Definitely worth a purchase. GC would be nice but I actually wouldn’t want a restart button since you can tap any tile to return to it or the start to return to that, it seems more intuitive as it is for me anyway. I just started the last chapter in season 1, although I did get stuck for a bit on one level I had to play on with only 2 diamonds and pretty easily beat all the following levels with a new mechanic added but then went back to it and figured it out. It does start off where it feels like there’s more than one solution to a level but as they become more complicated some levels seem like there’s only one way to do it but all of them don’t feel like that. Although it’s good, sometimes I can just whizz through a level without thinking and another I have to think like I’m playing chess. macplash likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #15 ste86uk, Apr 13, 2020 Here’s an example of what you have to look forward to, although they aren’t too hard at the minute. I’ve been following your accomplishments in the puzzle genre on this forums and your judgment is obviously clouded. But it’s not your fault. As far as puzzles goes, you’re just on another level solving them than the rest of us, mere mortals. So I take your feedback with a grain of salt. Especially since I didn’t even finish the first chapter yet. ste86uk likes this. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
