You start with nothing and have to punch things on a roll of the dice which hardly does any damage. If your lucky enough to get a weapon that starts to help you out but out of 4 runs I only found weapons on 1 run the others only spells which don’t seem to help that much. Starting stats, and luck with gear pickups have a huge impact, but if you balance fighting vs taking the “?” doors correctly you can have some good runs. As for the spells, if you use the right elements against the right enemies they can be quite effective. There are several things like that you just have to figure out as they don’t seem to be explained anywhere. gmattergames Well-Known Member Mar 1, 2013 607 42 28 #5 gmattergames, Apr 6, 2020 Last edited: Apr 7, 2020 I was able to unlock 2nd char after 5 or 6 runs. Little or no tactics and definitely a huge RNG factor. Reminds me of how painful it was to play low level chars in AD&D and forever missing with that god-forsaken 20-sided die. EDIT: After further play (frustration), I’m starting to wonder how RNG the RNG actually is. I roll a 3’s and at least 15% of the time (during combat). Not sure if it’s a bug, a statistical anomaly or intentional; there no IAP so not sure why it would be but it’s bad enough to make me quit playing. The barbarian is not great but seems like it has potential to become strong if you can last. The Rogue and the Cleric are very strong and therein lies my biggest issue. The game is too easy and short with them. It needs an endless mode, new game plus or just some balancing. It’s hard to lose with most of the classes (Wizard is quite powerful too). It’s a great start, but needs some tweaking. (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Password: Forgot your password?
