Most of the “negative” reviews are just because it became an Epic Games exclusive after leaving beta. Also a simultaneous release with PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch, which is great to see mobile getting the same attention. Will be picking this up! ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #3 ste86uk, Mar 31, 2020 I tried it in beta on iOS and thought the controls were horrible. Maybe it’ll be better if you use a control? anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #4 anthony78, Mar 31, 2020 Well, that’s not good to hear. I don’t do controllers with iOS games. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #5 ste86uk, Mar 31, 2020 Sorry, others may like it or maybe they tweaked it but you ran around fine but the other controls were awkward you controlled each hand and arm separately so for instance to drive a fork lift you had to awkwardly jump/dive into it and get into the right spot as it had no enter vehicle button or anything and then press your arm and hand button on both sides to grab the controls and start using it. Running around grabbing parcels and trying to use vehicles just didn’t feel intuitive at all. It works and was workable but I hated it. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #6 anthony78, Mar 31, 2020 Wondering if it’s a game that’s supposed to be like that. Kind of remember some weird game that was a hit where you had to control each hand / leg to get around. Name escapes me. Didn’t really like it much myself through so may not like this either. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #7 metalcasket, Mar 31, 2020 It's supposed to be like this guys. Janky controls, weird physics, etc. Can't say I care for it since I've already gotten my fill of the genre over the last few years with the Goat Sim games, Surgeon Sim, Human Fall Flat and the like, but it definitely has an audience. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #8 anthony78, Mar 31, 2020 Thanks for the confirmation. Will pass on this and get Bomb Chicken instead. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #9 metalcasket, Mar 31, 2020 Well, it's a free download, so no harm in checking it out. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #10 macplash, Mar 31, 2020 I spent a lot of time playing Human Fall Flat on Xbox. It's great fun. Especially since co-op multiplayer. But on mobile with touch controls? It was just painful. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're using a controller. And I assume the same will apply to this game. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #11 anthony78, Apr 1, 2020 Last edited: Apr 1, 2020 Out a bit early in the US! Controls aren’t actually bad for this. It’s definitely one or those crazy physics based games like @metalcasket mentioned. But think I like this better than others that I’ve played. That said, I found out it’s also on Xbox GamePass so I’m going to play it there and save funds for Bomb Chicken. Worth a download to try though! phred Well-Known Member Mar 21, 2010 271 3 18 #12 phred, Apr 2, 2020 Controls are not terrible in iOS, but there are some things that are really bad: - The camera will swing around unexpectedly while moving - Controlling vehicles is not good. Turning seems to be very insensitive to input - The times I have tried multiplayer has been bad. Lots of lag. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #13 macplash, Apr 3, 2020 Just the heads up: the game’s free on Epic Store until April 8th for those who want to play on PC. Makara Nou likes this. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #14 anthony78, Apr 3, 2020 Oddly enough I played this on Xbox One X with a controller and actually think I prefer the touch controls. But still not much of a fan of the game. (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Do you already have an account?
