Async play and (what I consider) async matchmaking. You can setup a room, close app and game starts when people join, no need to stay in app (I mean it’s 2020 and we’re talking mobile apps, who the very fuck would deliver that kind of silly functionality in multiplayer games!!! Ahem... cough.....Asmodee.... muppets ) I’m not bitter about not getting to play Terraforming Mars or Scythe at all.... Honestly.... This does look and sound interesting from reading some online, but it seems a lot for me to pay taking a chance when I don’t even know if I’ll like it or not. I guess I’ll wait to hear what people here have to say about it. rowe33 Member Jan 19, 2013 11 0 1 #9 rowe33, Mar 27, 2020 Do NOT buy this right now on iOS. It's broken. Keeps crashing and you can't really play online. The first online game I tried is stuck on my turn and I can't even load (invalid saved game data, error code -2). Not sure if single player works or not. skoptic Well-Known Member Apr 3, 2015 634 82 28 #10 skoptic, Mar 27, 2020 It’s not broken on iOS and plays fine on 2 devices (iPad 12.9 and iPhone XSMax both on iOS 13.4). Please give details of your setup if you have issues and log a bug with the developer. @ste86uk - this is a well established desktop legacy board game, so there is lots of info online or at board game geek about the game if you want to investigate. It is a worker placement / resource management legacy game. If those things don’t mean anything, you may want to check the web in a bit more detail. Only you know if you will like it Artwork is a bit ‘cutesy’ but game seems solid. They want you to play the campaign first if you haven’t experienced the legacy game before. Maybe since I am not familiar with the game, the card only states one pumpkin with other resources. Turns out I need to pay for 2 pumpkins. skoptic Well-Known Member Apr 3, 2015 634 82 28 #14 skoptic, Mar 28, 2020 It works OK here - it’s 2 pumpkins (& 2 other resources) to build it (icons at top of the card). Once built it’s 1 pumpkin to use it to generate a coin and a VP (icons at bottom of the card) chengchisang Well-Known Member May 25, 2018 119 31 28 #15 chengchisang, Mar 29, 2020 Thanks LordGek Well-Known Member Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze Feb 19, 2009 12,282 141 63 Software QA Engineer Saratoga, CA, USA #16 LordGek, Jun 20, 2022 Last edited: Jun 20, 2022 If anybody is still playing, how do you bring up the hovertext describing a building's function in more detail than just it's assortment of icons? You can't bring up hovertext while another popup is being displayed, like a little thought balloon from your avatar suggesting your next action (no clue if they'll always be helping guide the player or if this is just an issue in the tutorial).
