But for this, great! Many good things on it. Beat bosses and get tons of many loots. Also crafting items. And even though it's an SRPG, it has no "waiting everybody's turn end" Game is light. Highly recommended! L.Lawliet and Lull4by like this. L.Lawliet Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2011 6,405 420 83 #4 L.Lawliet, Mar 21, 2020 This looks really promising. I'm on the fence. I'm so close to buying it. Rare to have a game go premium like this. solarnya likes this. ironsam80 Well-Known Member Dec 14, 2010 1,151 34 48 #5 ironsam80, Mar 21, 2020 Really like it... Had download the initial online version and remember that had good words from a lot of people here but due to the online aspects and that I hate ftp games I never played... Glad they release this version!!! And also I like that you can choose screen orientation (this is rare for rpg games)... I prefer landscape for iPad and portrait for iPhone... so is win win for me!!! yankeeblue000 Well-Known Member Aug 29, 2016 644 36 28 #6 yankeeblue000, Mar 22, 2020 Wow! Great find! This has been on my wishlist for a while now but wished it was completely premium so I can pick it up. Wish granted..lol ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #7 ste86uk, Mar 22, 2020 Is it the standalone one in my picture then? How are you all finding it? What is rogue-like about it? Also one bit says turn based another says simultaneous srpg how do turns work? Finally some negative reviews on my store for the cheaper version say it doesn’t really have strategy to it that it’s just a grind. What are your thoughts on that? Randomized dungeons and loot with grid like movement presented in a visually appealing package. There are a couple control methods that make the game feel a bit different. Everyone moves at the same time so if you move forward the enemy may also move forward or do whatever they’re going to do. You can use your turn to stand still and let the enemy come to you which, like in many classic roguelikes, is an essential strategy. Those people are crazy ste86uk. If you ever run in to one of them on the street run the other way and don’t look back. Once again I can only speak on the original online version but Rogue Hearts has much more strategy than your typical iOS dungeon crawler. You need to position your character right with more difficult enemies and use your skills correctly or you will have a tough time. The game does a good job of introducing new skills and most, if not all, of the skills you acquire are useful in the right spot. I guess if a reviewer wants to critique Rogue Hearts for being a bit of a grind they’re technically not wrong but that’s a critique that can be aimed at most games in the genre including the classics. I feel if your the type of player that likes this type of game then I don’t think you’ll be disappointed for the price. When you find enemy, turn based battle begins. If i remember correctly this is the exact same game with the online one (menus story weapons crafting materials). They took away every online aspect but everything else is exactly the same. I think you get more loot in this one and do not have to grind that much. There are no iaps. Everything (except when you enter a dungeon which is what i want to be full screen) is not full screen on iPhone X. The translation is not so accurate but nothing too serious. The are a ton of crafting recipes decomposing enhancing etc etc which i really like about this one. Also you can choose to build the class you like not from the beginning but during the game mostly by choosing the weapons you want and the skills. Overall if you do not mind the turn based (fast turn based) aspect of it and the lack of full screen on menus this is more than worth it's money IMO.
