A laid back RTS with just one type of unit! Plus the unique feature of adding land to connect islands. Quite good really as more complicated RTS’s tend to be awkward on mobile. Free with a paid unlock. Royce Well-Known Member Mar 22, 2011 4,240 180 63 #3 Royce, Mar 13, 2020 Yeah I agree with this. It’s nice that there’s a level editor as well though I wish there was a way to share and play other people’s maps. Also just to add, it looks like you can also play for free if you want to watch ads, there’s an option at some point to opt in to ads or pay to unlock the full game. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #4 ste86uk, Mar 13, 2020 Hm I don’t know....I’m finding it hard to peak any interest and I love castles and RTS but I enjoy having more intricacies in this kind of game. Royce Well-Known Member Mar 22, 2011 4,240 180 63 #5 Royce, Mar 13, 2020 It’s definitely a super simplified but well executed mobile RTS lite if you will. It’s a lot of fun but not for serious RTS people. If you like castles and RTS, there’s another new one you might like called Warage RTS. I didn’t make a thread for it yet because I haven’t had a chance to try it for more than a couple of minutes, but it’s definitely more in depth (you can see where it takes its inspiration). ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #6 ste86uk, Mar 13, 2020 It certainly is but I’m sure some will enjoy that but I think maybe not for me. Thank you for recommending the other game the AppStore page for it makes it look and sound like something I definitely want to try. Downloaded already.....now I just need the baby to sleep long enough for me to try it. Royce Well-Known Member Mar 22, 2011 4,240 180 63 #8 Royce, Mar 14, 2020 It’s just the full game unlock. You can continue without it but you will see ads. This plays at a nice speed and I was immediately hooked. But, on my third map I lost my knight and even though it showed that I had enough resources I simply was unable to produce another knight. It might have been a bug, or more likely I’m not understanding something, but it meant I just had to sit there and slowly watch my villages and finally my castle get overtaken. stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #10 stubbieoz, Oct 23, 2020 I see there is a new patch released with tons of new stuff. Can anyone tell me when you get to the stage when you can purchase the full game? I see I have a saved game at quest 5 from an old play session but there appears to be nowhere yet where I am given an option to purchase. (To be honest I don’t even know if I have purchased it yet. It might have been nice to have an option in the menu to purchase and if already purchased, to show that you have). Brightsiderus Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2017 2,236 540 113 #13 Brightsiderus, Oct 25, 2020 You can see “+” above the “Land And Castles”, while free copy shows “Free”, so yeah. stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #14 stubbieoz, Oct 25, 2020 Oh wow, thanks! I grabbed my magnifying glass and yep, you are correct. Because I hadn’t played the game for a month or so and instead I have been playing many, many, other games on my iPad and pc, I had forgotten what the original main menu on this games free version looked like. So I had no idea if my game was the full version, and going into the game just shows a whole lot of levels with padlocks on them. Hence my confusion. Thanks again for the heads up. I have since updated the game based on your feedback and you can now play your maps online - I have recently released multiplayer. Also I have made it easier to see if you have unlocked the game, sorry that was confusing before. There are a bunch of other new features like boats, new terrain and new levels too. The “Plus” in app purchase is free this weekend (unlocks extra levels, unlocks the level editor, removes ads and more) so if you haven’t got that yet, go and grab it! (Ends on Sunday) Thanks for your feedback, it means a lot as an independent developer like me and helps me improve the game. I tried the first two quests and one siege. It’s a very unique game with a totally indie vibe. I love it! I’m going to go through the tutorial again though, because I’m not sure why I had to send in 3 different groups of fully upgraded soldiers (with 4 boxes under them) to beat the last castle. The only thing I feel could be improved is that when you moved to a spot, I wish you didn’t have to select the same unit again to move to another spot. That’s a super minor nitpick but other than that, yeah, thanks again @An_mo_ Edit: I wasn’t expecting this game to have so much depth. My comment about having to tap your soldier every time probably has something to do with the game mechanics. Great game so far! Perfect for mobile.
