Let me get this straight. There are no interstitial ads? The button for removing ads (which currently doesn’t work and redirects me to see/saw game on the App Store) is to eliminate the necessity to watch ads designed for unlocking more categories? I’m familiar with games from this dev like okay or see/saw, so I know the quality is already there. I’m just curious about financial model cause there’s nothing specific on the App Store and I can’t remove ads from inside the game either. Should I just watch ads to unlock additional content or am I gonna be met with interstitial ads at some point anyway? ———— edit: adding screenshot for visual aid Attached Files: 3EAA8948-86EC-4F09-AC9C-BF96F2F2EEE8.png File size: 4.5 MB Views: 0 Anotherkellydown Moderator Staff Member Patreon Bronze Feb 10, 2014 4,577 1,132 113 Male CAD Technician I Upstate NY https://youtube.com/channel/UCcvu9xhE7xT-mZrXUZQJr5g #3 Anotherkellydown, Mar 2, 2020 According to a tweet from Philipp Stollenmayer (aka Kamibox), it’s “free with friendly ads* (ad free for owners of supertype or see/saw) *no gameplay interruptions—watch ad to unlock level packs” Pretty generous! macplash likes this. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #4 macplash, Mar 2, 2020 @Anotherkellydown thanks for clarifying! I already solved 15 words in 2 categories and I’m genuinely in love with this game. It’s minimalistic, combines word game genre with puzzle. It has great animations of sticking and unsticking letters, it sounds great. Pretty much everything’s perfect! And most importantly, the chosen words are hilarious. Love the dictionary and I’m not stopping until I unlock every word. Highly recommended! kamibox Well-Known Member Jul 19, 2013 73 1 8 #5 kamibox, Mar 2, 2020 I am glad you like it! To the first point: When you buy supertype or see/saw, you can remove all ads and unlock everything at once. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #6 anthony78, Mar 2, 2020 Interesting, I bought both See/Saw and Supertype but I’m still getting ads. Any way to sort of restore purchases or something? macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #7 macplash, Mar 2, 2020 Exactly this! @kamibox am I suppose to enter a code or something? Is it bound to the same Apple ID? kamibox Well-Known Member Jul 19, 2013 73 1 8 #8 kamibox, Mar 2, 2020 In the credits of see/saw or supertype, you will find a 4 – 6 digit code, which you can enter in Sticky Terms anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #9 anthony78, Mar 2, 2020 Call me stupid but I can’t find a way to get to the credits. Do you have to have finished one of those games? I own both but haven’t played the entire game of either. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #10 macplash, Mar 3, 2020 Okay, alright. Now imagine the scenario we already purchased both of your previous games but wanted to support your new game as well. Is there a way to do it? Because it goes without saying: You got my deepest admiration for how you treat your existing costumers! In the see/saw you need to go to main screen with level selection and all the way to the right there’s this “i” button that just fire up the credit window. The code is in the lower right corner. Although it should be enough to just install the game and tap on remove ads button in Sticky Terms. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 703 113 #11 anthony78, Mar 3, 2020 Found it. Thanks! kamibox Well-Known Member Jul 19, 2013 73 1 8 #12 kamibox, Mar 3, 2020 Oh thank you! Of course I would love to do that without a code, but there is no way for me to find out if there is another game installed. The code is calculated from the device ID, which makes it unique, and allows me to find out if the game is installed on the same device. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #13 macplash, Mar 4, 2020 I had a blast with this game, every single minute of it. I’ve learned a lot of new stuff. Some helpful and interesting, some not so much even though I’ll never forget (like there’s a word in Finland for measuring unit that tells a distance reindeer can travel without having to pee or Arabic word for a fart in your direction). I hope there’s more content in the future. Because I love the concept. According to a tweet from Philipp Stollenmayer (aka Kamibox), it’s “free with friendly ads* (ad free for owners of supertype or see/saw) *no gameplay interruptions—watch ad to unlock level packs” Pretty generous!
