But I do like RPG elements. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #5 metalcasket, Feb 27, 2020 I don’t think I’ve played a game with the ability to be more devisive than this. I absolutely love it. To bits and pieces. Why? Because I absolutely love those ‘Keep dying, keep amassing currency, keep upgrading’ games like Ride to Die. This is exactly like that, except in hack ‘n’ slash mode. If you’re looking for something that has a story, progressing through different levels, etc. you’re gonna be sorely disappointed, but if you enjoy the grind, constantly getting better weapons, skills, abilities, yada yada, this will SO do it for you. Yes, it definitely has the ability to become repetitive, but the carrot dangling aspect of it has me hooked. This is SO good. Defard Well-Known Member May 25, 2011 322 15 18 UK #6 Defard, Feb 28, 2020 I agree with Metal. I have kind of hit a paywall (well it would have been if it was freemium) at level 10 of the Greek one. The only way I can see to get past this is to grind until I hate the game lol (And I have done plenty of that to get this far). This would be a much cooler game if they didn’t have enemies with unfair skills or ramped up stats. The fact that enemies can stun you and you cant even block it makes it border on a rage-inducing game for many. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #7 metalcasket, Feb 28, 2020 LMAO, yep! That's exactly what I meant. Absolutely steer clear of this if the word "grind" makes you think bad thoughts. If it doesn't, you're in for the time of your life. argibaltzi Member Apr 17, 2013 23 4 3 http://www.brainseal.com #8 argibaltzi, Feb 29, 2020 Some tips: If you get stun-locked a lot, learn the unbreakable skill if you need some extra gold use the talisman that gives extra gold. Its also important to win 3 star battles as you get bonus gold for it which allows you to get better equipment In some battles you will need to change your skill build to have an easier time... There is no shame in replaying battles you just won for some easy gold and experience. Some battles are easier than others by design Every once in awhile you will find a very hard battle (Greek X) Make sure you get high crowd energy in the first waves and then use the godpower towards the final waves which are usually harder. Dont forget to make an offering to the gods for even more help! When you face too many enemies throw some spears, they are good for lots of enemies. (purchase from general store) Some stuns can be blocked with shield block and facing the correct direction If you find the game challenging, play it in easy mode metalcasket, Lull4by and Makara Nou like this.
